Norway 4 Orientation Day (Day One)

We have just been informed of all the countries who are in NATO and the Warsaw Pact. I am Norway so I am apart of NATO in which there Is a lot of us, and we all have to come to a consensus of what to do before we actually attack or whatever the case may be. From listening in to all the talk amongst us and providing feedback we would want to avoid war at any cost because it would just damage us. Our main goal is to lay low until we are attacked. Once we are attacked then we will attack too. There has been talk that they want me to move troops to the top of the Soviet Union to take over air bases. After discussion we decided not to. It has been a very eventful day and tomorrow will be even more stressful.

Norway 4 Day Two

As time moves on, we are still trying to remain friendly. We have been having long talks amongst us so we don’t run into the chance of  World War III happening. We have just been informed that there has been missiles moved into Cuba, it was a secret until it got leaked! So we knew we had to stop that from happening if we wanted any chance to survive. So the US and Britain joined together and sent troops in. The US sent 200 while Britain sent 150. The battle was rough because we lost troops but NATO wins. So are safe for now. I am nervous to see what is in store.

Norway 4 Day Three

This by far is a very eventful day because tensions and the mention of war are being brought up. First Berlin was cut off from the west which cut supplies and made a lot of innocent people stuck. So other countries started pulling in troops incase of an attack. The Netherlands sent 70 troops to West Germany while the US sent 150 troops to Belgium. All while this is happening Portugal sends 20 troops to France, and France moves 30 to West Germany.  Then after all this happens NATO moved to defcon 4 to 3 and then back up to 4. When we went into defcon 3 the United States submarines were in firing position, but we knew if we were to shoot off first all the countries in NATO would be defeated. So in the end we were all peaceful and no war broke out, but there was a lot of tension.

Poland 3 1938

Being stuck between Germany and the USSR is not ideal when we are having territorial on our land by both strong countries. We will rely on the help of our friends France and Great Britain to keep the greedy powers away from our country. We need to start to gaining natural resources and make defensive alliances quickly. If I can get France and Great Britain to defend us and publicly guarantee our borders, we will be set for business. 

Netherlands 3 1938

Staying at peace has been so far so good, no tragedies, wars, treats, just our people living peacefully and calm. But as of late the German Armed Forces have been building and it worries my people at their hearts. If Germany does tries to go to war with my country will have to surrender because we will stand no chance. What also is worrying them and I, myself is that fact that Japan’s aggression in Asia is close to our dear Dutch East Indies. I need to form defensive alliances to better protect my country. Time to see what the Western Nations are able to do for us. We need to secure alliances by helping them in the pacific. Maybe I should try to give them some rubber, since we have more than enough. We just need to stay Neutral and out of the way.

Poland 3 1939 

Today the plan was to strategize and try and gain more resources. But soon in 1939 we were taken over in P1 by the Axis powers and tried to save our land but we used all of our troops and still were defeated. We are still Allied with the Allied powers as of now and are looking to regain our lost territory. Poland is trying to regain out land so our Allies can protect our borders and we can retain what we have lost. We need to start gaining materials as well but first priority it to regain our land. 

Netherlands 3 1939

The Netherlands today was full of defeat. We lost out territory and the including the Dutch East Indies. We are still remaining neutral but with the Allies because we were invaded and needed to fleeing to Great Britain.  Right now we are waiting to see our next move and will discuss our plans to regain territory. We were nervous going into the war because our country has been at peace and our worst nightmares have happened, but we will be back.

Poland 3 1940 

We are waiting for our Allies to help and regain our territory lost to the Axis. Still negotiating with our Allies it is a waiting point at this point because we need to strategize through the North and Baltic Sea to get out country back! We are not worried about the USSR above us taking anything so as long as we can take back our country in hopes Great Britain and France will protect our borders and we will be back and strong again! Our navy is still strong so we are looking to take out the Nazi’s ships in the Baltic Sea so they can’t transfer troops over anymore. For now we are holding strong but big moves are coming in the future! 

Netherlands 3 1940

The territory lost was devastating for our country. But we still have high hopes because our neutral countries are looking to support us in future war. If we could regain back our country the people who helped us would get tremendous help because of the resources we could give back to them in huge sums or natural resources. As soon as the time is right we will try and take back the Netherlands first and regain all of our resources and then move on to take back the Dutch East Indies. The near future holds big things for the Netherlands and DEI and the heads are held high in coming times!

Poland 3 1941 

It started with the USSR movement today and soviet union taking over Lithuania which is moving closer to Poland. We are trying to discuss with the USSR, GB, and France to take back over Poland so we can regain resources and help the other militaries. In the world news Japan has multiple attacks starting with Australia and moving on too Northwest China, Tibet, India, and Thailand. The Axis powers are making there presence known and taking over country by country. But in recent rumors we have heard Germany is beginning to lose power and we can start to make our move with gaining out land back and moving into Germany. As soon as we can regain our territory we will invade the Axis Powers and in high hopes start making our presence known with the Allied Powers. But in HUGE news today the USSR joined the allies which mean the countries surrounding me are now on my side which is amazing because we can easily take over Poland with the power of their army. This is a great thing happening because the soviet unions power is amazing and we are very excited to see what is going to happen in the near future! 

Netherlands 3 1941

Lots of wars are going on around the Netherlands territory. Japan has launched multiple attacks and is taking over names. But if we can possibly regain our land the resources we would gain could help our allied armies start to recover and begin to attack other lands because Japans troops are so spread out trying to defend all the land they are taking over. We are using our 50 boats in the Indian Ocean to take Japans boats so they cannot move any troops and we will control the waters. This is a huge sea battle and if successful we will control the navy. Unfortunately we lost the Naval battle to Japan because the had a defending bonus on top of their already high rated army. With the defeat we still have boats in the Indian Ocean so we can defend if needed. As of now our plan is to still take over the sea and move troops back into the Netherlands. The Germans have little troops in our territory and we are looking to attack tomorrow!

Poland 3 1942

It started today with the Axis movement and not much happened. The United States our Allie today gained naval power with 200 more ships and over 2000 more troops because of the draft happening in America. The USSR is making movement towards Poland to try and regain P2 of Poland and we can start moving west towards Germany and France can start moving East so that we can take over the axis power and show Germany how strong we are! Wars are still happening around our country because Germany just took over Lithuania from the Soviet Union because we decided not to put up a fight and let the little territory go. After that we have decided with the regained power, GB and France are attacking the Italian Navy. We are doing this so that France cannot move anymore troops into Italy and they will be forced to spread out their troops and be easier to attack.  We won the sea battle and took out their navy and we still have plenty of ships left. Our next move is to hopefully defend Germany attack from P2 because they have moved lots of troops their and right now the USSR needs to defend that and after the victory we will start attacking back Poland because the Germans will be weak. As soon as this happens we can start to regain our military and navy and take over the Germans. But for now we are waiting for our allies and most importantly the USSR helping us to take back Poland!

Netherlands 3 1942

The hopes are not high for the Netherlands because the territory surrounding us is all taken over by and Axis and is not looking great for the land regain movement. Really not much is going on in the Netherlands because of it all being taken over by the Axis powers so right now we are just playing the wait game because we are focused on getting our navy set so we can move troops back into the Dutch East Indies so we can take over. We don’t think this will be a very difficult war as long as we get our ships in place and can move troops into the Indian and Philippine Sea. We re trying to currently regain the Netherlands with GB, France, and the United States attacking our country to get our land back lost to Germany. As soon as we take it back we are going to create a pinch effect so the Germans can’t do anything. We ran out of time today for this to happen but as soon as tomorrow comes around we are attacking the North Sea and taking the Netherlands back!

Poland 3 1943

Today starts with the Axis powers war. Today Japan decided to attack the Eastern USSR with 1145 troops and have decided to defend the territory with 1206 of our troops and we were victorious! The soviets plan of defending has been working great and is sitting very strong to move into Poland. As well Germany tried to attack F1 of France and France was victorious! The Axis powers keep losing troops and we are looking strong because to defend the land they currently have their troops are so spread out and weak we can attack very soon to take back our land. Today the strategy for the Allied powers is to move troops to the soviet land and really focus on movement for future battles because all of our Allies are on board to help get Poland back from the gosh darn Nazi’s. Our Allies today are also trying to create another huge accomplishment by trying to recruit France to join the Allies. If we could get this then we could be able to pinch Germany and really give those damn Nazi’s a piece of our mind. A little slice of heaven came down today as 4000+ troops and Italy joined the Allies! This gives us a much better chance of regaining our land because now Germany has to be worried from all angles and their troops will be so spread out they have no choice and we will be able to regain Poland! Germany has no option but to move troops out of P2 at this point and this a a great day for the country of Poland. It shows that the waiting game is sometime the best game! As well as Italy joining us today Romania, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece, and Bulgaria. What a turn of events happening for the better of our Allies and the future is so bright for us. Within a soon time period we will have our country back and the allies will be as strong as ever!

Netherlands 3 1943

More battles have happened near the Netherlands today but nothing in the better for us. The Nazi’s tried to take over in France but were defeated and now Frances troops are low and our strategy has fallen because they have to have troops so that we can attack and get back the land. All of our allies are focusing on movement today and try and mobilize to get their troops replenished and ready for battle because we don’t think it will be a very hard task to retake the Netherlands but it’s a process that takes time. But on a brighter note today the United States and the Netherlands have made verbal agreements that we are trying to regain the Netherlands and as soon as possible. It should be very hopeful future because within the next year our Allies have set a guarantee we will attack and regain the Netherland and our next focus will be towards the Dutch East-Indies. We have smiles and hopes on our faces and minds because we know that very soon we can finally show the world the power we really have!

Poland 3 1944

It all begins today with movement for the Allied Powers. Our biggest hope for reinstatement Poland is being a big pain in the rear because he doesn’t want to lose troops. But we think we have him convinced because he has plenty of troops and the Allies have taken over so much territory that even if he could lost all of his troops he couldn’t be attacked even if they tried. So as of now we are still discussing with the Soviet Union but they are not wanting to help even when we are Allied. In great news our allies are moving there way into Germany and we can finally take over our country once again. We have waited years for our allies to be ready and we finally think we have the chance to take back our precious land lost early in the war. As soon as we move our troops into position we will have Poland back from Germany. We have successfully pinched the Nazi’s today and is looking like a great battle about to go down in Poland because the allies have a MASSIVE amount of troops headed for the nazis and I don’t think they can defend. The Axis powers at this point are just trying to stall now because they know all they can do at this point is wait and see how much land they lose within the coming years. As soon as the Allied can attack we have over 9000+ troops to attack Poland and surrounding countries with. The allies have really shown their power in this war but we are far from finished! We have minimal time left but we are attacking Poland in the final steps of this war. For today we are only attacking P1 and regain that land first and then we will move on to our final goal to gain P2 and our country will be restored at once. It is amazing this is finally happened and we have regained half our territory with the regain of P1. This is once small step for Poland and a huge step for the Allies and the country!

Netherlands 3 1944

Another slow day at the office, both the Netherlands and the Dutch-East Indies are not seeing much attention as of this point. The United States and Great Britain have a plan to move ships and attack the Netherlands so they can move troops and start to pinch Germany which will also take troops from Germany in Poland and will make our battles much, much easier to win.  We are attacking the Netherlands today! YES FINALLY! Through the gruesome war the allies and the Netherlands have come out VICTORIOUS! We have been waiting for this to happen for years and this is amazing because now we get our resources, army, and navy back at once. We can now secretly help the Allies work towards the pacific and become the rulers of the world! Our only goal or objective at this point would be to regain the Dutch-East Indies but is looking to be very difficult because Japan is occupying all of that territory and would be extremely difficult to do in the amount of years left.

Poland 3 1945

The war is finally coming to an end. We have now regained P1 of Poland and will take back P2 today with no effort! Our Allies have moved for the final time today towards P2 and we have a sum of 9000+ troops ready for battle near P2 of Poland. Germany tried to defend Ukraine with the troops from P2 and was successful but has very little troops left. Now that they cannot defend P2 we will get our land back we lost early in the war! We can now finally regain all of our land and have our country restored at once. If we had more time in the simulation we would try and gain more land and resources with everything we would gain from Poland. Now we are extremely excited to have our land and resources back, we are very thankful for the our Allies. Now we have regained everything we are just staying still and watching our Allies try and take over the entire world! If we just had one more time we could easily take over the world with a breeze but we don’t think we can move troops fast enough to get all of it. In recap for Poland we are very, very happy the way the simulation ended and are amazing grateful for our allies and specifically Great Britain and France for defending us and our borders after we have now regained our territory. Our Allies are still pushing East to take over Japan and surrounding countries but we the time, and loss of troops we don’t think we can successfully take all of it over. The war has been very interesting but we are glad it has come to an end and we can focus on our country’s restoration from the war in the future. 

Netherlands 3 1945

Nearing the end of the war we have regained our main territory of the Netherlands but have still not been able to get back our Dutch-East Indies as of now. It’s somewhat of a lost cause as of right now because Japan is surrounding it and we will not have enough time to get troops into the region. We are very happy with our victory in the Netherlands and having our land, people, and culture back feels amazing. Our future goals would be to gain more resources and regain the Dutch-East Indies but with the war coming fast to and end we will not have the time or resources to get what we want at this point.  Our future objectives for the Netherlands still remain neutral and try and gain resources in the future. If we keep our navy strong and resources high we could be a very helpful country for the bigger powers of the world. The only thing happening now is lots of action near the Dutch-East Indies because the Soviet Union is still trying to push East and take over Japan and China. We are just sitting back and watching war happen at this point and wishing the ones who helped us the best at war. We couldn’t regain the Dutch-East Indies in the time of the war but we are happy the way the simulation worked out for the Netherlands and are excited for the future of our country!

WWIII Lesson Plan

Romania 2 Orientation Day-

We decided to meet as a group with Hungary, Czech, Poland, Germans, and Bulgaria.  We are thinking we are going to invite Cuba and china in to help us. We are basically just talking strategies and saving the nuclear weapons for later. We need to fight with our troops and see what we can knock out first and what is too strong for us. My objectives are to follow along the side of the soviet union and work together, but also to have some independence. We need to find someone to keep watch because Turkey could be coming from Bulgaria at any moment we need to be alert and ready for anything. 

Romania 2 Day 1-

Today we are missing our leader the Soviet Union. The Czechoslovakia leader is going to be our over all leader until Soviet Returns. We are all waiting on edge to see who takes action first. Romania and Hungary took over Yugoslavia with 150 troops each. It was an easy battle and we are looking for more and more. We have a special bond with soviet we know that they will have our backs.  The USA turned in the launch warning they are catching onto us. We have to to figure out a back up plan…. Everyone in the Warsaw Pact wan`ted to launch today but I knew something didn’t feel right so I had to figure out a way to take out west Germany. We need to rest for the night but we will get back to you soon. 

Romania 2 Day 2- 

Everything and everyone was very hostile. We knew something big was going to happen. We just didn’t know who was going to do what. The Warsaw Pact sat and strategized for a long time. Trying to figure out in we go into defcon five of if we keep fighting off until they decide to move out of West Germany. We are all getting so very tired from all the ups and downs. We kept talking to the US to tell them to get their troops out or we will strike. The US moved some troops but not all out of West Germany, so we decided it was nuclear warfare time. We struck them with everything we had and they struck us and next thing you know they launched their missiles and everything ended. Besides China was left standing….

United States 2 1938

We have a large amount of surplus in our natural resources, especially our oil. We plan to help Great Britain by transferring some of our natural resources to them. Instead of aiding people with our military, we will provide some of our natural resources for them, to avoid staying out of conflict. The conflict will just tie us up and we could end up in lots of trouble. We hope to stay out of conflict because everyone has been on edge since World War One. If we are attacked, we plan on defending ourselves and hopefully taking over parts of Europe. We plan to keep our alliances with Great Britain and France from World War One so we have people to help defend us if we are attacked. 

United States 2 1939

This year, we decided to stay out of conflict. Everywhere around us there was war. The Axis Powers have proven to be very powerful so far. We are trying to stay out of everything so far. Unless we are brought into the war by someone, we are staying out of war. Though we don’t want to fight, we are willing to help out some of our Ally friends. We decided to help Great Britain and France by giving them some of our surplus supplies and resources. We gave them the amount that they needed so that they could increase their military standing. We hoped that by giving them resources early on that we would be able to get their rating up in case they are attacked by anyone else. 

United States 2 1940

This year, we tried to remain out of conflict again. Japan is taking over a lot of China. In order to help them, we transferred some iron ore to them in order to hopefully strengthen their army. Our navy has been invaded by Japan, so we have no choice but to fight back. We decided to join Great Britain, France, Poland, The Netherlands, China, and Finland on the Allies side. Because we were attacked unprovoked, we plan on strengthening our military to the point that the Axis Powers won’t be able to defeat us. We plan on sending our American troops to France to help Great Britain and France in fighting Germany from the East. We hope to use our power to liberate all of Europe. 

United States 2 1941

This year, we prepared for war. We had just joined the Allies and hoped to help take down Germany. We decided to send some of our troops from America over to France to help Great Britain and France in their effort against Germany. Unfortunately, Germany’s numbers were too great for all of us, and our troops were wiped out. Japan also sent lots of troops to the Philippines and gained control of the land. We hope that if try again to defeat Germany and help to liberate Germany, that we will once again be able to take control of the Philippines from Japan. In the coming years we hope to build up our numbers in Europe to gain control over Germany in order to stop them from further expanding their empire. 

United States 2 1942 

This year we really focused on trying to help France and Great Britain. The Soviet Union has joined the Allies so we have also been helping them. They are in desperate need for resources, so we decided to give them some of our surplus materials in order to increase their military ranking. We are growing quickly in numbers both in the navy and the army. In order to defeat the Germans and Italians, we have been trying to slowly chip away at the number of troops occupying France. We have been using our navy to transport British troops to France. We plan on taking our navy up to the United States to take our strong troops to France to hopefully defeat the Italian and German forces that are in France still. From there we hope with the help of the Soviet Union we will be able to attack on both sides of Germany to take down their army and liberate Europe. 

United States 2 1943

This year we have really been focusing on getting troops to Europe. We have been in close contact with the Soviet Union and have been trying to push towards them in order to relieve the pressure that Germany has been putting on them. Unfortunately, we lost Alaska to Japan. This isn’t a huge concern to us yet. We hope that if we continue to push towards Europe that we will be able to pressure them and then in turn regain our lost land. We have been moving our mobilized troops to Great Britain to eventually take them into France in order to liberate them from German control. This will allow us to take back the land that the Allies lost and give us an upper hand on Germany. We will force them to fight from both sides, fighting the Soviet Union, and the United States and Great Britain on the other side. 

United States 2 1944

This year, a lot happened. We had been focusing on getting our troops to Great Britain in order to get them ready to take back the land France lost to Italy and Germany. We had troops set up in Great Britain that were ready to be moved. We took Great Britain and our troops to France and regained all the lost territory. In addition to that, we were able to invade the weak Germany and take over there. They had no troops there, because they were all fighting in the East, so we were able to gain their land. We also took control of the Netherlands with troops and are going to try to move troops in through the North Sea in order to get straight access into Europe in order to liberate more land and countries from German rule. Italy also joined the Allies, so we don’t have to worry about them taking more land now. We will work with them to push towards the German troops to take them out. 

United States 2 1945

This year, we continued to push into Europe to spread our rule over the territory. The Allies have troops all over Europe allowing us to spread out to take control of the German and other Axis armies. Italy took over a lot of Southern Europe and Great Britain and us continued to push our rule more east. The USSR has been struggling a lot on both sides. A lot of their land was taken by Germany and Japan from both sides. We hope that by continuing to pressure Germany, that we will relieve pressure on them to allow for us to get more troops to defeat Japan. We helped our Allies, Great Britain, to defend from attack by Japan in Australia. We are planning on moving our navy into the East Pacific in order to start shipping troops to China to try to help get rid of the Japan rule there. We also are planning on moving more troops and pressuring Germany to hopefully take them down once and for all.

United States 2 Prep. Day

We have been informed of the situations that are going on in the world at this time. Whatever way we fight this war, it is not going to end well. This war is going to be mainly fought with words. We have to keep the communists at bay. This will be difficult because of their superior tanks. Being the Unites States, this will take a lot of negotiating and talking out. It is mainly between the US and the USSR. Our objectives are to keep nuclear weapons out of the West. We also need to protect all of our allies. Our last objective is to keep communism from spreading throughout Europe. These tasks will not be easy, especially if we must retain from starting an all out nuclear war. If they are to attack with their tanks, we do not stand a chance unless we use tactical nukes against them, which is highly controversial. Getting them to not attack Germany would be our best hope, but that is highly unlikely. 

United States 2 Day 1  

Todayhas been an eventful day. Hungary and Romania have started out with the invasion of Yugoslavia. USSR has also moved massive amounts of tanks into Romania. We had to take action when they attacked Turkey with 1000 tanks. We sent in tactical nukes to destroy the opposing tanks. We needed to protect our allies. We also moved into defcon 3 so that our submarines were in the water and at the ready. I have received information of the state at which Cuba is in with their nuclear weapons, and worked with Great Britain to get Cuba under our control. If nuclear weapons were to be sent from there, it would reach the United States in under 5 minutes. We are in a state of attack on warning, if they are to send anything our way, we will fire back with everything we have. Talk of them sending their nukes is spreading. There is no good way to approach a war like this. They have also moved into defcon 1, whatever is going to happen, it will not be pretty. 

United States 2 Day 2 

Again today the USSR has gotten greedy. They again tried to send in troops to Turkey. We had to defend our allies, so we sent in tactical nukes against their tanks and destroyed the invasion. Towards the end talk was stirring about if we gave them West Germany they wouldn’t do an all out launch of nuclear weapons. We moved the majority of tanks out of West Germany but they did not invade. Instead they went for Norway with the US tanks in Norway we stood our ground but did not win due to the overwhelming forces of tanks that the USSR has. We were already on attack on warning, so if they tried to do anything, we would be ready to attack them back. We tried to stall and do what we could to save as many lives as we could but in the end they just sent everything they had at us. We tried to take the lesser of two evils and let them take West Germany with little resistance, but it wasn’t enough for them. They wanted all of Europe and we weren’t going to let them have it. In the end, everyone is the loser. Nothing is going to be the same after this. It would be better to have not fought this war and came out with no casualties, now all of Europe and the US is covered with destruction.

1938-Orientation Day:

Poland:

Poland is not a strong country we have 1,000 troops with the military rating of 2. Our natural resources aren’t good we have 3 out of 5 oil, 0 out of 5 iron ore, 3 out of 5 coal, and 0 out of 5 rubber. I am put in a very bad situation I am stuck between Germany and the USSR and either one of them or both of them are coming at me. My objectives are to retain my territory, Negotiate vigorously to get Great Britain and France to defend you,  and persuade Great Britain and France to announce publicly that will guarantee your borders. 

Netherlands:

Netherlands is very weak. Army of three hundred and fifty, and a navy of 50. The army rating is a one, and the navy rating is a seven.  Our resources were 0/1 oil, Dutch El 8, Iron ore 0/1, Coal 1/1, and Rubber 0/1. The Netherlands have been at peace for almost 100 years.  I am very concerned about the German forces, and I can’t do anything about it because their troops will stomp mine. I have to surrender I can’t try and fight back.  My objectives were remain neutral, if you are occupied, flee to Great Britain, if the Germans declare war on you surrender, and join the Allies work to help them in the pacific. 

1939-

Poland: Today is the day when we start to prepare for war because we know it’s coming. We aren’t very strong, we know that and so do other countries. Our strategies are to keep on the low and make sure France & Great Britain can keep there promise to help me if needed. Everything changed when Germany came to attack P1. I held in as long as I could, but my troops couldn’t hold them off they were the rulers of P1 and I knew they would becoming for P2 very soon. I was so dumb! I listened to the USSR expecting them to help me if Germany came for P2. Out of no where USSR lied! They went to war against me! My troops were so weakened from before they couldn’t protect P2, and now Poland is no longer mine it belongs to the USSR & Germany. 

Netherlands: My troops are weak and Germany is going to come after me. I need to remain neutral to make everyone happy. The German President came to me asking if I would join their side, but I had to decline the offer. I knew as soon as that happened it was not going to be good for my troops. Next thing I knew Germany was attacking the Netherlands, and my troops were nothing compared to theirs. I had to surrender to them. Germany took over the Netherlands and no one could stop them. 

1940-

 Both of my countries have been taken over now I am just helping out my allies mentally. It’s a whole knew year, and Great Britain and France are trying to start an alliance with U.S. Japan just made a huge move and took over all of Asia. The U.S. was finally able to make some moves and help out the Allied powers.The U.S has a lot of resources, and their army should be able to help our troops a lot, and we can take down axis powers together!

1941- 

Germany is on the move they moved in 4,000 troops into Belgium.  They are on their way to France and I don’t think France can hold them off. From the other side Italy is moving into France to invade F2.  They don’t have the troops to fight them off and prepare for Germany there isn’t much they can do. Italy took over part of France and they are just going to keep moving on. Germany moved in soon after to F1 and France’s troops are trying to keep fighting but they are getting weak they can’t hold on for much longer. The axis powers are victorious yet again they are unstoppable, all we have left for Axis powers are Great Britain and U.S.  

1942-

France has just a small portion of land left and Germany is moving in yet again to defeat them all for good. France knows they are coming and they are ready for them but they are really beat up and Germany keeps coming back stronger and stronger but France can not give up. They have sent everything they could which is not a lot and Great Britain is trying to keep the small portion of France on the board but it’s not looking good. It was not a good day for my allied friends from France they had a harsh battle with Germany and France could not make it through. Germany has taken over France for good, and now we have to see what will happen next with our other allies. 

1943- 

France has been through a tough war last year and they were unfortunately  defeated. Our allies are going down one by one. All we have is Great Britain and the U.S.A. You could cut then tension between Axis powers and Allied powers with a knife. Not only was Germany trying to take everything from the Allied but they went after the USSR. Great Britain needs a break they have been trying to defend their land. A lot of movement was done which I think gave the Allied powers a huge advantage. Looks like Germany didn’t really have a strategy they just wanted to destroy things with Japan. The Allied powers had been secretly talking to Austria Hungry to join us.  

1944-

The Allied powers are tired of being pushed around by Germany and Japan. Germanys troops left Germany wide open and in came the U.S, and France. They used Great Britain’s ships. The United States and France are taking over Poland from the axis powers, because they left it wide open with no troops. 

1945- 

The allied powers can’t take much more but Great Britain and the US are moving in on our enemies and defeating them one by one. All France, and Poland can do is sit back and help the other Allied powers mentally. This war will be over soon and we will not stop until it’s in our favor!

China – 2 – Pre-Simulation

I am going to try and get my objectives as soon as possible. I know that I need to work the Soviets so that they think I am working with them, but really I am working with the Americans to help them. I am going to be a spy for them, as long as they let me. I want to make it seem like I am completely on board with the Soviets and their whole team. I am not sure what I would do if I let it slip, or they find out, that I am really working with the Americans. I am in communication with the Americans right now, I need the trust of the Soviets and everyone else to make sure that this can work the right way.  

China – 2 – Day 1

I am in good communication with the Americans and their troops. Cuba got taken over by the NATO. I am not sure what my team (America) is going to do. The Soviets are talking about taking over Turkey, Greece, and Albania. Both sides are talking about nuking the other side, I am not sure who is going to strike first and what the outcome of that would be. It is stressful to not know what is going to happen. I think that the Soviets are going to fire first and the Americans should be prepared to get hit and they need to be ready to hit them back. I am getting all of the information from the Soviets and that side of the room and letting the Americans know what is going on and letting them know all of the talk. I think that it is important to tell them so that they can trust me and we can continue to work together. 

China – 2 – Day 2

I am unsure of what to think today. Both sides are on a “Launch on Warning”. No one wants to do anything because they don’t really want a nuclear war and kill everyone. The NATO moved to DCON 2 today, but their plan is not known yet. The talk on the Warsaw side is to come into China before they nuke. China is in a safe spot right now, I am working with both sides. The Soviet Union thinks that I am working with them, but I am still working with America and telling them the plan. I think I have the trust of both sides. I am really hoping that no one starts with their nukes, that would be the worst case scenario possible. I need the Soviet Union to share their nuclear technology with me. The Soviet Union called war, they started the nuclear war. The NATO then had a launch on warning and attacked back, almost everyone died. China would be safe, nothing happened.

Great Britain 2 1938 

Today we started scouting other countries and figuring out how we are going to approach this war. We know what materials we have. Currently we are sitting well with iron ore. We need more oil, coal and rubber. If we gather more of these materials we can grow our overall rating up higher. When we gather the materials we need we will look into how we can help Poland from being invaded by Germany. A German invasion is bound to happen in Poland. It is difficult to have to send troops over right away because of the German navy. France will have to stay close allies to us if we want to succeed in this war. Having the US on our side will also help. We can’t allow Germany, Italy, and Japan to gather too much land and resources. Containment is key early on. 

Great Britain 2 1939 

The war has started today. We have seen what the axis powers are capable of. Japan will continue to dominate in the Pacific if they are left unchecked. We really need the United States to come in and keep Japan contained. We don’t stand a chance in this war if the United States doesn’t join soon. The USSR has been up to some suspicious activities. I’m concerned if they have decided to ally with the axis powers. I overheard Japan talking to the USSR about giving them materials. The USSR with materials teamed up with Russia would be unstoppable. We intend to make an alliance with Norway and Sweden to be able to bring our Navy up to control the Baltic Sea Zone. 

Great Britain 2 1940 

Our navy and the French navy has proven itself today with our first invasion. We first started the year out by making a secret alliance with Sweden and Norway. The naval attack succeeded in defeating the German ships in the Baltic Sea Zone. We don’t have to worry about the Germans making any advancements over the sea in that direction. Some ships were lost in the process, but that is war. Germany is moving masses of troops into the Netherlands, threatening France with an invasion soon. To help as much as we can, we are shipping in troops expect a standoff against the Germans. The thing we have been waiting for has finally come. The United States has entered the war on the allies side. This is huge good news for us. The next thing that would help is if the USSR joined the allies as well. We lost all of our territory in the Pacific except for Australia. We might need to get those troops out of Australia unless we are reinforced by the United States. Australia could be a good place to stop and store up troops to go against the Japanese. 

Great Britain 2 1941 

This year has started off tough with Germany moving 5,500 troops into Belgium. Things are looking grim for France. We were right, even with the US and Great Britain shipping all of the troops that we could. France has fallen, F1 and F2 have been taken over. Italy has come in from the south and Germany from the North to form the 1 2 punch out to France. We as Great Britain did everything that we could. F3 is still unoccupied by any of the axis powers and is still in ally control. We plan to send in troops to get the defensive bonus if they try to attack any more. The axis powers troops are very weak to the East. If the USSR would join the allies we might stand a chance at retaking France and defeating the axis powers. We would have to share materials with the USSR to get their army rating improved, but we need them to do something. 

Because Great Britain is on an island and all hostile ships around it have been destroyed, we don’t have much of a threat against us. We will just have to keep shipping as many troops as we can into F3 to try and eliminate the axis forces. If the United States wasn’t so far away we might be able to take it back faster. It takes 2 turns to move any US troops into France which is time wasted. 

Great Britain 2 1942 

As expected Italy and Germany have sent in the majority of their troops to F3. We sent in as much defense as possible, but it wasn’t enough. The good thing is, the Germans and Italians troops are all spread out and weakened. We plan to work with the US and send in more troops where they are weak, to eventually retake France and destroy the axis powers. The Germans have attacked the USSR causing them to join the allied forces. This is a big positive for us, now we have a force of troops allied with us to the East of Germany. The US keeps getting more and more troops and ships allowing us to be able to take advantage of their military rating and bring the fight back to the axis powers. Japan has seen the threat that the USSR has against them and they are moving troops to defend against, or possibly invade Eastern USSR. The United States will have to deal with Japan. We are willing to use our ships to transport US troops over into Japan’s territories. An attack by us and the United States together will bring down their dwindling troops in France and Germany. We will have to communicate and work together with the USSR to plan our attacks strategically. 

Great Britain 2 1943 

This year was all about preparations. We have loaded troops into Great Britain to prepare for a invasion into France to take it back. Germany realizes that they don’t stand a chance agains Great Britain and the US together. Germany continues to try and take over parts of the USSR. The USSR’s rating is hurting them as Germany is winning the small battles. Italy is being a real pain as well as they keep shipping troops into the Middle East that is controlled by us. To help out the USSR we are bringing those troops out of the Middle East and into Southern USSR. As we see how all of the Axis Powers troops in Europe are dwindling, it gives us hope. The only real threat in the Axis Powers is Japan. USSR has a large number of troops in the East but I fear it will not be enough. As we work our way into Europe, hopefully it will distract them. We plan on using our ships to the West of the US to help ship troops over into Japanese territory. The US will need to help out in the Pacific if we want to win the war. We could send US troops into Australia to hold them there before taking over different Japanese territories.  Europe is just ground that is ready to be taken over. Japan’s rating and troop number will be difficult to take over, especially because of how they are geographically positioned. It will take time to get anything all the way over to Japan. 

Great Britain 2 1944

This is it, D-Day. We’ve made enough preparations and have enough troops along with the United States. We are ready to take back France. We expect some resistance, weather or not Italy will assist Germany we cannot say. We have been successful in taking France back. Now we have a strategic place that we can ship troops to keep taking the fight to the Germans. Italy has been taking over more and more places in the Middle East. After they were done and we threatened to overtake their homeland, they sent an alliance paper to us. We decided to ally with them so that we could cleanse the rest of Europe. More time spent fighting another country like Italy, is time wasted. Making allies with them was in our best interest. USSR is barely holding in there, Japan is pushing to the East and Germany is getting dangerously close to Central USSR territory. With more movement of the troops that were in the Middle East we will be there to help defend against an invasion. We have also strategically moved our ships to the North Sea Zone to be able to ship our troops directly into Germany. Taking all of this land in Europe has also given us more and more resources. This takes resources away from the enemy and gives us resources. Japan proves as the biggest threat now, our ships will come in handy for moving US troops into Japan. They can be stored in Australia if they need to be. 

Germany 2 1945

The war has become a game of cat and mouse. Germany is running from us as we liberate Europe. The USSR as expected has failed to hold off both Japan and Germany pushing on both sides. We couldn’t chase down Germany in time to save them from being invaded by Germany.  Our troops in Australia have withstood an attack with some help from the United States. Australia is an important place to have so that we can store troops there until we are ready to attack Japan. If we had one more year of war, the rest of USSR would be cleansed of all axis powers. If we only had more time during each invasion and movement period, this war would be over. Many more opportunities would have presented themselves. We could have helped protect the USSR if we had more time to move our troops into Ukraine. The US is moving more ships into the Pacific helping to defeat the Japanese in their territories. With a few more turns, all axis powers will be defeated. The United States has helped out so much in the war.

Pre-simulation Report

Things are escalating. The NATO powers are getting more and more agitated as things continue to escalate. Then Soviets are planning an all out nuclear strike on the United States. If they strike first, we will strike back with every missile that we have in our arsenal.  So far, the dominoes just keep on falling. I as the president of Great Britain plan on staying close with the United States and to be as big of a help as I can be. If we’re going to make it out of victorious, every decision we make is going to be crucial. 

Day One

The Warsaw Pact has officially made the first move. They have made an attack on Turkey and was unsuccessful. I as the presidetnt of Great Britain convinced the United States to move to Defcon 3 and to use Tactical nukes to eliminate the Soviet tanks moving in on Turkey territory. But, I’m sure that’t not the only attack that they will attempt. To strike back and to teach them not to mess with the NATO forces, we sent troops and tanks into Cuba and took over that territory. Other NATO allies have information that the Warsaw Pact is preparing to initiate an all out Nuclear attack on the United States and other NATO countries. As a precaution, we have initiated “launch on warning” in case of a Nuclear Attack. This may be the last time I’m ever able to write. If one Warhead is fired from the Soviets, then the whole world is doomed. There will be no saving anyone. 

Day Two

It’s over. The word as we know it has been destroyed. The soil that we have farmed for millions of years is destroyed. All of life as we know it is destroyed. There is nothing left. People that are lucky to survive, are going to die soon anyways. Temperatures will soon reach sub zero temps and there will be so much smoke and debris in the air making it impossible to see the light of the son. All hope is lost. If you are reading this, it’s too late. It was over from the start. There is no longer any food or supplies to survive. I am working on repairing any radios or technological devices to try to communicate with anyone else and see if there are other survivors. Life as we know it is gone. Nothing will be the same for a really long time. As Einstein once said, he didn’t know what would happen in world war 3, but world war 4 would be fought with sticks and stones. In all reality, he was right.

Finland & China 2 1938

China: Today I learned that I need resources very bad, I need to get my resources higher. I need to make alliances, I haven’t decided who I should work with yet. I want to start alliances before I try and regain my territory from Japan. I want to try working with the United States for sure, they have multiple resources, they can send them to me and that would be helpful. If I regain my territory from Japan then I can get some of my resources back. I will need some hep from other places getting all that I need. I can hopefully talk to Thailand and they will work with me and give me some of their resources. 

Finland: Today I learned that I really don’t need that many resources. I only need one of each natural resource. This will be helpful when trying to get them from people, I won’t be asking too much from anyone. I can hopefully work with people to help keep me safe. As of right now, I want to stay neutral, I don’t want to make anyone mad or form any alliances with people. I don’t want to make anyone mad and start a war in my country or around. If anything happens that could affect me or alliances that I am in I will think about stepping in and helping the best that I can.

Finland & China 2, 1939

China: I have no idea what to do. I have a bad army, I need natural resources to help increase my army. I don’t know how to save China from being attacked. I am losing my territory, my only hope is to get resources and hope that can make my army better. I need to get the United States to help me, I need their resources and I need their help with their military, I am useless with no help. I talked to them today about them helping me and teaming up with me, I did not get anywhere with that. It is hard to need help and I don’t get it. France and Great Britain tried to help me out, but that did not go over very well, they were unable to help me keep my territory. Going into tomorrow my strategy is to get the United States on my side. I need to try and keep Japan from attacking me, I don’t know how to do that yet.

Finland: I almost let Europe use my land, good thing I did not let them. I made an alliance with Germany today, hopefully that will help me out. Finland has a really strong army, once I get my resources that will make my army one that no one wants to mess with. That will be incredibly helpful. I don’t want to make any alliances at this point in the war yet, I want to stay isolated. I made an alliance with Germany, however I have no intention of doing anything with them. I am going to sit back and watch the war until I am not able to sit back and watch it anymore. I think keeping myself out of the war will keep my country safe. 

Finland & China 2, 1940

China: I got attacked and lost all of my land. I have nothing else to do, I have nothing else to do. I am rooting for the allied. I hope that Japan gets the crap kicked out of them. The United States was finally able to help, but it was too late. I got a little bit of help in China, but not enough to save me. I didn’t want to send too many troops because I would lose all of my land for sure.  I wish I would of had more people to work with and be able to save some parts of China.

Finland: I was attacked by Russia and lost my land. I was able to kill 500 people, leaving me with 90, however after the first blow I was not able to save myself. No one was able to help me, I was alone. Russia said I should of let them move troops to my land, but I couldn’t. My army had a higher rating than Russia, but Russia had a lot more troops than I did. I really couldn’t do much, I couldn’t get anyone to send troops to me so that kind of back fired and made it so that I didn’t have anyone to help me out.

Journal – Today the allies lost, they had way more troops than anyone else and still lost, kind of disappointing. Germany is proving to be unstoppable, they will continue to beat everyone until someone has an army at least twice their size, maybe neutrals and allies should all team up to start taking over land from Germany. Honestly if anything as long as someone can take and one part of Germany it would show that they are a force to be reckoned with. The Axis powers are unstoppable as a whole, they haven’t lost a war since. The Allied Powers are not doing so great, they are losing land and they are 

Finland & China 2, 1942

Journal – Today the Soviets joined the allied powers, that could be a smart move. Maybe they can help take over part of Germany. They are still unstoppable. If the Soviets are able to take parts of Germany and Japan’s land that could help them slow down. I think that the USSR should have joined the allied powers a lot sooner, they they could have worked with China and I could still have my land. My thoughts right now are that the Axis powers are going to destroy everyone in their path. Hopefully that changes, if Great Britain keeps helping out then maybe they can do something.

Finland & China 2, 1943

Journal – Today France was defeated. I wish that someone was able to help France, they are one of the last ones that are able to do anything. Italy tried to join France, but that did nothing for anyone. Germany has a very powerful army, so far no one has been able to go against him. France has a possibility of getting their country back and bringing power back. The United States needs to help an allied country, that is about the only way to defeat Germany. If I was the United States I would be sending my troops to France and possibly Great Britain so that we can all team up. After teaming up and having a plan I would do a surprise attack on Germany, starting in 1 part and attacking the rest of the country after that. This will be the only way, that I see, having them be defeated. 

Finland & China 2, 1944

Journal – Today France had a great comeback. France, Great Britain, and the United States were finally able to team up and defeat Germany.  Germany lost their main front, this made the almost useless. For Germany as long as they had their main front no one could get past them. When they lost this it took a toll on their army as a whole. This was the perfect opportunity for the U.S., G. B., and France to really team up and start taking land back. This made it so that Germany was losing all the power they thought they had. France, Great Britain, and the United States need to continue to work together, if they do they might be able to conquer the rest of the land and free the people of German rule. This was the comeback the world needed to see, I think everyone started to feel defeat and didn’t know what to do anymore. I am really proud of the three countries that were able to take back land. I wish that I would have had more alliances so that I could have been more help. If I could redo it I would try and make sure that both China and Finland were able to make alliances and get the sources they need to be successful.
