Second World War Simulation Journal: Yugoslavia & Belgium

Yugoslavia / Belgium 1, 1938

We, the country of Yugoslavia, shall trick Germany into helping my country. We don’t plan to keep a long term friendship with them, nor will we help their military at all as we are allied. They look to us to help them take control of Greece. But they don’t seem very trustworthy since they used force to make me join their side. So when they time comes, I’ll betray them and help the allies. It may be a suicide mission, but at least I’ll go down with a little bit of pride.

The country of Belgium is planning to join the allies to help them hold off Germany and save France from being totally destroyed. But Germany has their hand around my throat because there would be no way that only a couple of us allied countries could hold off Germany alone. They have too many troops posted outside of Belgium and the only way for me to survive is to join the Axis powers. For now I’ll have to watch Germany closely and analyze what their goal is before making a decision.

Yugoslavia / Belgium 1, 1939

Yugoslavia has officially created a fake alliance with Germany, but we don’t plan to keep it up for long. I have secretly met with the Allied forces to decide how we should move forward from this moment on. But I haven’t gotten much of a response from anyone. So I gave the Allied powers a year to help me decide. Until then I don’t plan to attack anyone so that I can guarantee a surprise attack. Germany doesn’t realize that Yugoslavia plans to betray them so quickly in the war. I hope they are prepared to be surprised because I wonder how they will react.

I plan to be neutral for a long while as everyone else kills each other. And I plan to join the Axis powers since I would be completely destroyed by Germany and I would lose all control of Belgium. So to play it safe and to give me more time to play my cards. It might mess up the plans of everyone else, but at least I’ll keep my control. I can turn the war just by joining the opposite side. Here goes nothing!

Yugoslavia / Belgium 1, 1940

I have joined the Allies and I have been wiped out immediately by Germany. I caught them off guard, but it wasn’t much of an impact as I intended it to. It seems as though the Allies don’t have a chance against Germany. But I suppose my sacrifice wasn’t such a waste, as I divided Germany’s army when they attacked me. So it will allow the Allies to attack where they have been weakened.

I shocked the war by joining the Axis powers. They know that Belgium is an advantage in the battles between France and Germany. There were Allied troops in Belgium when I switched sides. It was a blindside that no one saw coming. They are confused and won’t know how to react when Germany attacks. I cannot wait to see what happens now between France and Germany. Let’s wipe out all the competition and win this war.

Yugoslavia / Belgium 1, 1941

France and Great Britain are the only threats to us in this war and must lookout for their navy and men. With Italy and Germany using Belgium to travel through, it will destroy the Allied forces and eliminate anyone in our way. We plan to take out the USSR and then head to the west to take out France. It’s a two-front war and we need to take out USSR asap. Japan will attack the USSR from the east and Germany will attack from the west. Hopefully this will work and we can dominate this war.

Yugoslavia / Belgium 1, 1942

We are building up our military to go to the USSR and wipe them out. Japan is making plans to move up through Asia and start by attacking Eastern USSR. Then Germany will start moving through Belarus and farther up and take full control of the USSR. Our plan is to take as many countries as we can and to take full control of Europe. No one stands a chance against Germany and the Axis powers. They might as well surrender now and to save us the hassle. We are number one.

Yugoslavia / Belgium 1, 1943

Now that we have wiped out the USSR, we are aiming to take France. We make our way west and then use Belgium to take France from there. There is hardly any resistance and nobody can stop us. If we continue at this rate, we will win the war for sure. Germany is crushing everyone with the help of Italy and Japan. This is going great. As we continue to sweep to the East, the Allied forces plan to gather troops to help back up France and to enforce a wall of defense. All we have to do is block off the two entrances to France from Germany and corner them.

Yugoslavia / Belgium 1, 1944

We have taken Asia and most of Europe. We plan to head south to take Syria and to take complete control of Europe. Then we’ll send more troops to France. Our plan is still intact and we plan to carry it out from here on. We plan to send our Navy towards France too. And after France is gone, we’ll take Great Britain. That will leave the U.S. vulnerable and defenseless. And if push turns to shove, we’ll send waves after waves of our troops to the United States and take them too. 

Yugoslavia / Belgium 1, 1945

We came close to completely taking Europe but came up short handed. I’m not saying I’m mad, just that we could’ve taken more if we had more time. But this is an Axis Victory for sure. The Allies had no way of defeating us. We used strategy and predicted their actions accordingly and it was successful. I respect the Allies for putting up a good fight, and for doing such a good job. We were worried at some points and we were scared that they would actually come back and bite us in the butt. Thankfully, luck was on our side this time and we prevailed.

World War 2 Simulation Journal: Poland & The Netherlands

Poland 1 1938

I know that Germany will try to invade us so we need to do everything we can to stop them. I know that Germany want to Danzig port and thats why they want to  I will need to form an alliance with France and Britain for when the time comes and hope that they will protect me.

Netherlands 1 1938

We are not a very strong military force and there has been nothing done to us. We will remain neutral as long as we can so we can keep the peace in our country. If Germany attacks, we will have to surrender. At the moment it is in our favor to stay neutral. 

Poland 1 1939

We got invaded by Germany and we knew that we would not win. France and Great Britain said that they would defend us and secure our borders. There wasn’t a lot they could do about us getting invaded. We did all we could to keep my country but we couldn’t beat the Nazis. 

Netherlands 1 1939

Right from the beginning Germany invaded us and we couldn’t move our troops to Great Britain. We knew that Germany would destroy us if we fought them so we surrendered to them. In the Dutch East Indies we joined the Allies. Shortly after we joined the Allies we got invaded by Japan. France and Great Britain did what they could to help us but Japan took over the Dutch East Indies. 

Poland 1 1940

We have lost all of our land but we will not give up. I believe that they allies will get the upper hand soon and take back Poland for us. The allies are still continuing to fight without me and they are staying strong. 

Netherlands 1 1940

Belgium has joined the axis powers but Great Britain and France still have troops there. They will have to conquer it. Their plan is to win back the Netherlands and I believe that will happen very soon. In the Dutch East Indies and Asia, Japan has conquered almost all of it and it doesn’t look like they are stopping anytime soon. 

Poland 1 1941

The USSR had taken over the 2nd part of our country back in 1939. Today the Soviet Union and Germany fought over it and Germany was victorious so now we are completely part of the axis powers. 

Netherlands 1 1941

Germany and the USSR broke their treaty. The USSR joined the allies and they are now going to help us take back lost territory in Asia. Japan bomb the Americans in Hawaii. The USA joined the allies also and they will be a major help to us in the war. 

Poland 1 1942

Germany invaded Norway but the Soviet Union sent in troop and the allies were victorious. Norway and Sweden ended up joining the allies. The Axis powers are gaining land but they are using up their troops. 

Netherlands 1 1942

Japan has almost taken over all of Asia and Australia. France, Great Britain, and the US are trying to take Belgium. If they take over Belgium, then they can easily get my country back for me. We’re waiting for help from the US in Asia, they are our only hope in getting back the Dutch East Indies. 

Poland 1 1943

Germany keeps attack the Soviet Union and they are now running very low and troops, but Germany just keeps attacking. We’re hoping that the USSR can start winning some battles so that they can help get our lost land back from Germany. Germany is quick using up all of their forces and we’re hoping that with the help of the US we can start winning the war.

Netherlands 1 1943

Japan has taken over the Philippines and took it from the US and Siberia from the USSR. Japan now controls over all of Asia and has started moving into the other side of the Soviet Union. Great Britain has moved troops to France and are waiting for a battle against the Axis powers. The Axis powers have been very victorious lately but they are running out of forces quickly.

Poland 1 1944

Germany has now successfully taken over all of the USSR. They have run low on troops but Italy hasn’t used a lot of their troops. Most of the countries from southern Europe has put their troops into Italy and we know that they plan on attacking very soon.

Netherlands 1 1944

The US has declared war on Japan and they will hopefully start taking over all of Asia and we will get our lost territory back from the Japanese there. Germany has moved in all of their troops from Germany to Belgium and we know they will soon attack. They are now surrounding France in Belgium and Italy. 

Poland 1 1945

We fought the nazi ships and beat the north sea so now they are not able to move troops to Great Britain. Great Britain ran out of troops helping France fight against the axis powers. 

Netherlands 1 1945

The Allies sent in most of their troops to Belgium to try and take it over. We lost the battle and I have lost hope that we will get our territory back from the Axis Powers. The US lost the territory they gain in 1944 in Asia.

World War II Simulation Journal: France

France 1, 1938

The year is 1938 and Germany has been gaining much land. I can see the leader taking over more land. My belief is that he’ll go strait for Poland. I know that He’ll also attack me later on. Learning from the last war, the person in charge will waist his allies supplies and army. Throughout the whole thing my plan is to try and convince them to not help a lot so that they have less people against us. 

The most important thing for is for me to help Poland. I’m going to send quite a bit of troops so that we can defeat Germany at Poland. My hope is to stop the Nazi’s as soon as possible, for I am scared of what they are able to do. Possibly the worst part is knowing he won’t stop at nothing—but that’s just the thing…Because he doesn’t know how to stop…I will preserve my army and defeat Germany at it’s weakest point.  

America, will most likely stay out of war for a long time, for they are frightful, but I hope they are willing to help us like the last time. The USSR is questionable—I hope that they help us to defeat Germany. 

France 1, 1939

The year is 1939 and Germany is unnecessarily taking over smaller countries. The USSR and Germany are unofficially allied with each other, and my allies and I are trying to get The USSR to ally with Great Britain and I, but it is not easy. Japan surprisingly has a strong army and I am afraid of what they are capable of. 

My plan has not changed: I still want to convince the allies or people close to Germany to not help Germany out as much. The German leader is a prideful one, and will take over everything—regardless if they are enemy or friend. I’ll have to protect Belgium as best as I can, because there is no doubt in my mind that Germany will attack there.

There is no doubt in my mind the leader of Germany will take over Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Belgium, I know for sure he will try to get. 

I am sorry to Poland, for I was not able to protect you—how could I? With all those Fascists? Are you as scared as I? I’m trying my best to put up a brave front, for I do not intend to loose my land t-to—GERMANY!

France 1, 1940

Everything seems to go by quickly. There is very little my Allies and I can do. We can’t attack and waist our troops, and we are not able to defeat Germany with our rating and numbers. War is frustrating us, but we will rest assured that we will stop them!

Belgium had declared allegiance with Germany! How dare they!? They were allied with US! I put my soldiers in to protect them, but they just sit there and abide to Germany!? What will I do with my soldiers!? Do I take them out??? Do I just let them stay there in hiding—let them die??? How could Belgium do this? I feel so betrayed. I feel as if the only way to protect them is to protect them from themselves—take the country over—so they do not come to me under Germany’s rule.

This is just my luck, Journal! I couldn’t protect Yugoslavia, even if I tried! Japan has taken over French Indio-China. Italy failed at taking French Into Africa, but I’m worried they will go their again and kill off my soldiers there…how am I supposed to maintain my land, if I have little army? In addition—how do I take land back with my little army??? I wish to have prepared more! I must stop at nothing to  get the USSR to join us. I hope that is very soon—no, I know it will be!

France 1, 1941

The year is 1941, and Germany’s army has dropped a bit. We are waiting until they lose a couple thousand more. As soon as they lose enough, we shall attack with the help of Great Britain.

The USSR joined the Allied Powers. Pearl Harbor attack from Japan into America had caused America to join the Allied Powers. We are very excited to have more people allied with us. I know we can’t defend for long. I hope to plunge into war soon with Germany’s army depleted by our forces. However, I am scared I will be attacked by Italy and that my army will too be depleted. My plan is to convince Italy to not attack me—I have a feeling Germany will convince them to. 

However, I’m also scared for the smaller countries, my countries that I have influence over, and us Allied Forces. I’ve noticed that they’ve been taking smaller countries, and it scares me that they are getting a higher army rating. I don’t know what to do, or if I can do much, for my forces are not able to go all the way to these other countries. 

France 1, 1942

The year is 1942, and Noway is pissed off at Germany. Germany had betrayed them by attacking them. Norway had made a huge scene and is so angry that they decided to side with us, the allies. I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself—Noway said that I was right. Of course I was! I told Norway that if they ally with Germany they have to be carful because Germany is bound to attack them so they can use them. After she yelled that I had made an announcement for people to steer clear of Germany or they too meet the same fate.

Today we went into war, and I’m actually glad we did, even though we lost some people. I feel as if we’re not taking much chances, and that Great Britain is not doing much to help me or others either. I go into war with them because I am loyal, but sometimes I want to yell at them to blaze up Germany. Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself—maybe they’re to slow, I don’t know. I just think if Germany takes another shot at Sweden, then it might just be enough to waist most of his soldier, then he’ll be using Italy. By this time this is when they Allies and I will go full force!

France 1, 1943

The year is 1943, I was mostly sick. I heard from allies what was going on. Germany has taken it to far! Most of my ally, USSR has fallen under Germany.  Why have they’ve taken up so much of the USSR?! The whole country is has just fallen do to Germany! The USRR, though they had week forces, were a great help. I’m shocked even find it out with them borrowing resources from the United States too! Luckily, Germany have taken down most of their own troops. However, I fear for my soldiers’ lives, for the lives’ of my country, and for my country itself. 

I hope to talk to America and borrow some resources for I can defend my own country. It is hard fighting a war at bedside. Hopefully, Germany won’t be as cruel as they’ve been, but if patterns show me anything—they will be. 

May I take a sec to be bitter. My countries that I’ve been controlling over has gotten me to be very angry. My resources have practically been taken, yet I could not do a thing—as suspected earlier! Why is Germany was so hardened!?

France 1, 1944

The year is 1944, and I’m feeling well, but also angry. At the time of being sick, I couldn’t fathom the USSR actually about wiped out, yet their is obvious proof that it has been. I wish to out of this war! 

I have to get resources from the United States. When I spoke to the United States, I got word that most of his resources have been going into depletion. A big navy war had broken out in the West Pacific. This has been our victory among many losses. By the end of this year, I hope to make a secret alliance with Italy so they don’t attack me, or at least convince them. I will put out propaganda. How are the other ways can I insure my country is safe without dishonoring my alliance with Great Britain. 

Lesson of the day: You can’t win war through ignorance and defending. 

The realization that most of the world has fallen under the Fascists, had really made me pissed—bitter. I am beyond angry, what can I do with my troops?! How can I save my country! How can the Allies defeat Germany and the Axis powers with the little pathetic armies of ours. Our lack of war has gotten us in trouble. Great Britain is of little help to defeat Germany, but I understand why. If I saw that the Axis Powers were coming close, I too would want to keep my troops to defeat Germany. 

France 1, 1945

The year is 1945, and I talked to Italy. I was told that he’s been pushing off attacking France. Germany has been wanting to attack all week! I am afraid, and have now accepted my fate—France is being taken over. However, I will not go down without a fight!

Germany and Italy have been attacking smaller countries, however the Axis powers are getting ready to attack. They have taken over most of my land, and I am not happy. I gave warning to Great Britain to attack Germany’s army so that they wouldn’t go into it. I was clever in doing so, because they wanted to attack them, but they didn’t have the forces to defend their country—do to me. Anyways, I am very grateful for Great Britain and America for helping me, when I had troubles defending my own country. 

The only regret I have is not fighting sooner—not attacking the Navy sooner, so that we could’ve delayed the attack on Sweden and Norway. I wish to have crushed their forces, to ask more of America—so that we may be able to have had a fighting chance.

Orientation Day 1

Today we talked about the strength of our troops, why this simulation is different from the WW1 Simulation. Now we need more resources oil, rubber, and iron, so we got to attack places that have natural materials. That’s our first strategy is to get raw materials for the war. If we don’t have have the right number of materials, our rating will dive down. for our troops, will stay weak, the more material the stronger we are. My thought process right now is  for people I’m acquired with to get resources for our team so we have better chance of winning. The one mistake we made last simulation was that we didn’t put Germany ships around the U.S.A so France and Britain were bringing in troops and destroying us, Germany and A.H.  

Germany 2 1939 

Were starting to plan an attack on Poland. Japan is now starting to attack the Indies because of the resources. We exchanged resources so we can more advance. So far we won both wars for Nazi and Japan and we got a lot of rubber. We signed an alliance with the soviet union so we can keep peace with each other. My thoughts about the whole resource thing is pretty good, especially sharing and getting the best we can for war.  I don’t think signing alliances is all to good, unless its a bigger army, but in this case we are the strongest country but we are stuck in the middle of 3 big countries. I just hope France, Great Britain, and Soviet Union don’t attack all at once even though Germany would have the way stronger army we could suffer major losses. I just hope countries are scared to try to take over the Germany

Germany 3 1940 

Japan just took out SC China and it is like a cake wake going threw china. Japan troops have a rank of a good 9. They are basically unstoppable  At this point were taking the map and basically painting it yellow. Japan just got defeated by Serbian troops helping China. Italy tried attacking French North Africa but we didn’t put enough troops in there to overcome the troops they put in. So 2 defeats so far.  We also attacked NC China and Japan was victories. The USSR tried attacking Finland but Finland manage to somehow win surprising. People are basically really annoyed with us and people are getting erupted with their group. Someone actually left there group and came over by us. ‘Sweden’. I think Spencer is really getting in there head about how powerful we are but we really haven’t attacked anyone. 

Germany 4 1941 

We started an attack on Finland and Russia put 2500 and we put in 250. Holy cow did kill but in the long run they won us. We took them all the way down to 891 so that is really good on our side. I feel like everyone is getting irritated with our good troops and our annoying mouths. Now were attacking Poland and the other side seems to be giving up slowly. Now were going for Lithuania and everything is going out like a hot knife going threw butter. Now Japan is going threw Buma-GB and we just won. Everything is going with ease and now I want to go for U.S.A because overall they take us all in the long run. If we take them now they can’t help. Plus they got so much materials. Germany is now attacking Belgium for transportation for France. We won Belgium. We won again. We lost a thousand troops but we took out a lot of France and Great Britain Troops. The Eastern USSR attacked Japan – Manchukuo and Japan won. But they took major losses.

Germany 5 1942

So today we really made Norway mad because they allied with us and we had to attack Norway. The person who had Norway freaked out on us but oh well. She was able to get Russia to help her out but were gonna kill them one way or another. So at this point Japan took out China cause Japan troops are so strong. The U.S is gonna be big play later in this simulation because they are gonna kill Japan easily

Germany 6 1943 

Today Japan took Serbia to begin with. Now Germany and a few other allied troops with us are taking Ukraine. We took Ukraine and now were trying to move threw the USSR. Japan just now attacked the Philippines and we overtook them. The weird thing is that they are starting to get hard and our troops seem to be weaker. At this point we taking over Russia because they have zero troops so were just sweeping.

Germany 7 1944 

Today a lot of stuff went down. A lot. The allied sides are going crazy. It started out with the US taking a part of Japan then bam. Germany and Italy is making them suffer because of it. Russia really sucks, I feel bad for the guy operating it because all he did was lose, lose, lose. We are pushing, so get out of the way. Tomorrow is a big day. Like a really a big day. We takin France I think. The people from France are begging Italy not to take them because they need their objectives done. But I hope Italy gets threw that so we can take them. I wanna push straight threw them. The USA can’t really do anything because most of their U boats are sunk cause of Japan so they are really suppressed. Tomorrow sh!t is going down.

Germany 8 1945 

So today is the last day and wow. We were about to attack France but then they attacked Belgium so we had the defending bonus. Big upset but Germany still pulled threw for the victory and now we’re attack France. Today was the finish. Our map wasn’t supposed to look like the way it looks now. The whole map should be red but its yellow. If they had more time they could possibly send more of US troops and eventually take over but they couldn’t. We stalled near the end so they couldn’t take back any of France. We moped threw people and it was so easy. I’m so glad Italy stood by our side for the finish because they’re the role changer in the game. If it weren’t for them we would of lost. But we mopped floors today. We mopped floors.

WW2 Simulation Journal: Hungary, Rumania and Bulgaria 1

World War 2 Simulation

1938- Orientation
Today I talked with Kayla, Marina, Taylor C., and Anthony. We are all allies with each other. We need to fill out the forms to confirm it, but we are working together as a team. Two of my countries I can’t really do anything with because I can’t declare war or anything until 1941. But i still have Romania. We have made up the plan that Germany (Kayla) and Italy (Marina) will go over and take out France tomorrow. Once that is done I am going to send a few hundred troops into P2 of poland while Kayla and Marina take over P1. Hopefully we win that battle and and we can take over Poland there. Then we will still work together to try and take out the USSR.

1939
Today I made a secret alliance with the USSR with Romania. There is going to be a two front war on Poland. Germany is sending 5000 troops into P1 and I am sending 200 troops to P2 and the USSR is sending 800 troops into P2. We want to get rid of Poland as soon as possible because we want to take their resources. We all can use them and share them with one another. This will benefit all of us. We are victorious for P1 so far. And P2 the USSR and I as Romania were successful for taking over P2. Jaccie and I had come to agree meant that we will split the land of Poland. She gets the North half and I get the South half. We are splitting the coal and the iron that we earned. And because we have become a secret alliance, I told her about one of my objectives which was i have to take 1/3 of the land in the Ukraine.  And I told her that I didn’t want to go against her in the end. So we settled an agreement that she will give me 1/3 of the land if she gets most of the supplies for the iron and coal. We had agreed. Now i don’t have to worry about going behind her back and we can still work together to take over the places that we need and get the supplies that we need.

1940
From what it looks like today, it looks like France is going to try and attack Italy. I am going to send 200 troops from Romania to Italy. That’s going to take about 3 turns to get there. Hopefully I can make it there in time to help her on the Defensive side of the offensive side. So far i was able to move 200 over to Hungary. Also today send iron and coal over to Bulgaria and Hungary from Romania. Japan (Taylor C.) gained rubber from taking over land. She had shared the amount of rubber i need for Romania. Now all i have to get for supplies is one more of iron and one more of coal, then i can move over to the next countries to get the supplies that they need. Tomorrow I can officially use Bulgaria and Hungary finally in war if i need to.  1941 has finally come that i don’t have to hide out and have other countries help protect me.

1941
This morning I had a meeting with Germany and Italy. (Kayla and Marina) We all made a plan and agreed that us, including all three of my countries now that i can be in war, will all team up and take down Great Britain and France. Im not sure if we are going through with this plan today or not. But what i am doing for sure is I’m helping Italy attack Greece. Japan (Taylor C.) had shared rubber with the rest of my countries. I had given her oil back in return, and i gave some oil to Italy too (Marina). Im finally able to declare war with Bulgaria and Hungary, so I’m sending troops down to greece from Italy.  We were victorious and we were able to take out Greece. Now i have to go after Yugoslavia. Just found out also that the USSR need some of my land. That is one of their objectives, well mine is to keep my original territory. I don’t want to give that up, but then again i should since they gave me land too. I have a lot to work out and try to do. Well now i know not to trust the USSR. They had annexed their land back that they gave me. This definitely means war. Since we both took over Poland, I’m going to try and get the resources back that we shared. Im no longer trusting them. After I help take over Yugoslavia, France, and Great Britain. Then I’m going to try and take over the Ukraine for sure. Im going to get the territory that i need, and I’m not gonna let them stop me.

1942
Today were supposed to take over F2 and F1 of France. We need a lot of troops, hopefully we have enough. Were hoping we have enough especially now that our ratings have gone up. We need to go after F2 first, that way Great Britain doesn’t come down to help them. What were thinking is, if we go after F2 then France will want to come and attack us. We want that. If they come to attack us, then we will have more than enough troops to take them out. If this plan works, then we can move on to our next plan. My next plan is to take Yugoslavia with the help from Italy. Then going after the USSR!

1943
Im trying and taking over Yugoslavia. I hope that i make it. This is one of my last objectives that i need. If i get this i will be very happy

WW2 Simulation Journal: Japan 2

World War 2 Simulation

Japan Period 2 1938

The war starts tomorrow and my partner and I have created a decisive
plan for the whole war. We are going to be aggressive right away. We’re
sending troops down to the Indies and snatching up all that land and
resources. We especially are seeking oil because we have a tense
relationship with the US who supplies most of our oil. We know we
must become self dependent and take over countries with a lot of
natural resources. After we take the indies, we’ll do a loop of takeovers
of countries and end up taking over China. Once we have a lot of
resources and land, we’ll attack Pearl Harbor. This is our biggest
objective and we really need to hit them hard, which shouldn’t be too
difficult with our military strength. If we really push down the US military,
that will help our Allies in defeating the opposition because the US is a
huge part of the war. Since we are helping our allies in hurting the US,
they need to help us in getting land in Egypt, so the opposition can’t get
through the Suez canal which gives them access to the Pacific. I’m
pretty positive that Japan will get most of the objectives, or all. Bring on
1939!

Japan Period 2 1939

Today has been a great day, more than great I should say. The majority
of my plan has worked. I started right off with conquering much needed
resources from the Dutch Indies. I had a nail biter of a battle against
Great Britain and the Netherlands, but I came out victorious! This was a
great victory because I very much dislike the British and their leader.
This also defeated 100 alli ships in my region! The resources were very
useful to my allies and I. This will help us later in having bigger ratings
and help us take over the world. After I gained all that land, I decided I
wanted to go further. I pushed in my war slips quickly and battled in
China. I easily overtook a section in China, which was promising. When
it came to South Central China, I was defeated by the British. I will
easily take it over tomorrow because they have less than 200 troops
there. There was one minor set back to today and that was the United
States thought it was a smart move to take the oil I so desperately

need. I take this as an act of war, and when I gain the amount of
resources necessary, I will attack them with great force. After I attack
them with great force, I will have Hawaii. After I conquer Hawaii, I will
head for their mainland. If I can capture their mainland, I will hurt the
Allies greatly and help my group a lot. I am excited and a little scared
for what comes next because I know the British and US have a very
high rating. I must stay positive and keep my head aimed at my
objectives.

France 2 1939

The year is 1939, and Europe is divided. The totalitarian regimes of Germany, Italy, and Japan have formed the Axis powers, and the USSR has formed a non aggression pact with Germany. I fear for my country and the survival of Democracy in Europe. The only Democracies left in Europe are Great Britain, Czechoslovakia, and my homeland. Hitler is not to be trusted. I feel that his aggression and ruthlessness is going to bring us into another war. Hitler has demanded Poland. We cannot continue to let Hitler get his way. It is time for war!

France 2 1940

The war has begun! I am concerned with my situation in Europe. I have two powerful axis armies to the east in Italy and Germany. I do not know what Germany and Italy’s strategies are, but if they wanted to destroy me, there is nothing I could do. These two countries simply have to many troops for me to hope to defend an axis invasion. I am hoping that the allied navies will be able to give me some relieve with troops from Great Britain, but it will take time for them to reach me. For now, it looks like Germany is focusing it’s attention on taking over Poland, and Italy hasn’t been aggression. I fear that it is just a matter of time before I am to face an attack.

France 2 1941

The USSR has joined the allies! This is great news! This will hopefully force the Germans to fight a two-front war, providing my homeland with some relief. The USSR has a large army, but they will need resources in order to be at full strength. As far as strategy, I am still waiting for the allied naval fleet to put Great Britain’s troops into France. I am going to need all of the troops I can get if I want any chance of defending my territory. I am going to do whatever I can to defend Belgium as well. Germany needs Belgium in order to get to France, and I am going to do my best to not let them get it.

France 2 1942

The United States has joined the war! An attack from the Japanese navy has given the United States a cause to fight for. They have joined the allies and mobilized, giving them more navy and troops. The awaited attack has finally come from Germany. Germany has invaded Belgium. I defended Belgium on the first attack, but then Germany sent 3,000 more! Knowing there would be no defense against this attack, I have decided to wait for Germany to attack me. I will need to defense bonus. The allied naval convey is supplying France with 1000’s of troops. This long awaited relief will be needed as I fear Germany is getting ready to invade France. If Italy decides to attack as well, I feel there will be nothing I can do.

France 2 1943

Germany and Italy and invading France, and there is nothing I can do. The relief from Great Britain will weaken the enemy, but it will not be enough to stop them. The fall of France is inevitable. All of my troops have been defeated and all my territory is taken over. There is really nothing left for me to do accept advise the leaders of the other Allied countries. The war appears as if it is swinging the Axis power’s way. Germany’s army is simply too big and strong to be stopped. Something needs to happen if the Allies can turn this around, and I think that something might be America.

While the situation in Europe is still tough, the Allies faring well against the Japanese in Asia. The USSR was able to take back all of Japan’s territories in China. While my homeland is still occupied by Germany, Germany’s troops are small in numbers. I feel that my have made a big mistake by not going after the USSR first. They have gotten stronger every year and should be able to move through Europe. An allied naval attack on French North Africa has defeated the Italians and regained the French territory to the allies. The allied convey is preparing for an attack on the German-occupied France next year. It is time to regain my territory!

France 2 1945

Italy has joined the allies! The Axis power is collapsing, and Italy wants to do what it can to get something out of the war. The United States mobilization was enormous, and it is the beginning of the end for the Axis power. They now have more navy and 3000 more soldiers! The Allies are preparing to regain France by loading up the naval convey with American troops. After an invasion, the allies successfully defeated the the Germans in France. My French territory is now mine again. The USSR has regained Poland and Rumania. German troops are retreating back to Germany. The allied forces are going to do everything they can to defeat Germany. The end is nearing. The Soviet Union continues to move further into Europe. Germany is now surrounded by Allied forces. After an invasion of U.S. and USSR troops, Germany has fallen! The war has ended! The map is now covered by the Allied color, orange. The only Axis power left is Japan. While the war has costed millions of lives and enormous destruction, the Allies are happy to have finally defeated the the ruthless nazis. It is time to make lasting peace in the world.

Italy 2 1938
Things are looking tough, as it’s going to be difficult getting my natural resources, which I especially need. Acquiring the resources I need will be easier with Japan backing me up. Keeping the Allies out would be an easy task if I blocked the Egyptian canal. With Finland and China strongly for the axis, our axis forces are looking powerful.

The Axis is really holding together. Controlling Sweden is a difficult task, so I believe we should just give it up. Gaining resources has been easy thanks to Germany’s demolition of neighboring countries. We have to get at North Africa and Asia’s natural resources since everyone is cutting their ties with us. Great Britain is constantly breathing down our neck, but Cassie can manage the danger for us.

This is the day. I wasn’t present, but I knew I could begin attacking on this day, as it’s part of my objectives. I hope my group is taking hold of all those resource-rich African territories. Italy isn’t incredibly strong so managing to survive is a difficult task on it’s own. Maintaining a comfortable relationship with everyone is key.

We’re fired up, getting ready to destroy France. It’s a good day. Japan is falling apart at the seams, she’s gone crazy. She’s on her own between Germany and I. Great Britain is a strong relentless force. Teamed up with France and the United States, they’ve proved to be a powerful and strategic enemy.  Hopefully taking their natural resources down in Africa won’t be a difficult task.

Slowly but steadily I’m attempting to take these African territories. Great Britain and the U.S. are moving in a pack like wolves. They viciously take over territories and are moving down through the southeast colonies. My navy is weak and I can’t fend them off. Germany is growing weak. I don’t know how much longer I can do this dance before I have to give up and fight the music.  My days in this war are numbered.

We are crumbling. Fighting needless wars purely for the fun. The weakness is driving us to  grasp at straws, chasing the wind. We can’t get what we need. The allies are vicious wolves and we’re paranoid sheep. They are too strong and we cannot fend them off. Italy is losing it’s southern colonies and I’m having trouble maintaining Italy itself. I’m worried they might take it.

Italy and the Axis are no longer allies. I am now roaming with the wolf pack. Getting my territories is a task I am now able to achieve. I will make a beautiful victory. Making sure Germany doesn’t seek revenge, I will have the brute force of the Allies on my side.

The Reich has fallen. The Axis, non-existent. The whole world is a beautiful orange color, and Cassie is pissed as usual. it’s a beautiful sight. All the resources I needed, I have. It was  an amazing feat, conquering what the Allies did. The Axis stood no chance.

Germany 2 prewar

War breaks out and it is time to plan out our attacks, and make our alliances, war hasn’t officially started yet but it is knocking on the door. What we want to do is take over Poland and move closer and closer to Finland. We are giving coal to the leader to Finland i think that will help our future alliance with Tyler. I just hope the attack on Poland goes as planed  because we really need it to go as we planned. I think Soviet Union knows of our plans because the leader is asking about  Poland, I’m getting nervous.

Germany 2 1940

This is the first year of WW2, there was a lot of action that happened in the first year. The Germans and Allies battling it out for Sweden, it just went back and forth, the Allies ended up taking over Sweden. Every war we declared made me nervous, we had to take over Sweden for their iron ore. When we were defeated for the last time i was mad. Also, our Navy got taken out the first year, this made me really mad because we couldn’t move troops anywhere else that wasn’t next to our land. One thing came out of the first year, that was when we took over P1 this made me happy that we finally took over, a part of, a country. This was a very interesting year I hope for more years like this.

Germany 2 1941

We are sending our troops to take over the Netherlands, war always makes me nervous. The suspense builds up as the soldiers  fight in the Netherlands. It ends up that we are defeated, There aren’t much troops there so we attack again, i am very confidant this time and so is Joey. We are victorious, the sound of Germany is victorious was a good sound to hear at that point. We want more land so we take over Yugoslavia, i knew this would be a easy victory and it was. I feel like we are doing good at this point we are covering ground, winning wars, getting resources to get stronger, and i think other countries were afraid of us.

Coming into this year i felt very confidant that we can have a successful year but what i didn’t know we weren’t going to attack as much as we did in the past couple years. When we attacked Belgium i knew we were going to win, we were strong and had more troops that they did. We also made a bad choice this year, attacking P2. It was confusing because USSR took all their troops out of P2, when they did that i thought no one was in control of P2 anymore so i told Joey to attack and he agreed. This was a horrible idea. When i did this i saw USSR turn from light blue to Orange, and i just thought to myself, that is not good.

Finally we can get past the wall that blocked Germany from getting into France. We did that by taking over Belgium. This year was the year we dominate most of Europe. Last year Joey and I had a plan to take over France, I was excited when 1943 came around the corner. The areas in France i was most nervous about attacking was F2 and F1, but in the end we ended up taking them over, actually all of France.

The only thing we did this year was take over Denmark Other than that the Allies took over most of Asia. I thought it was kind of a boring year.

I can’t see the end zone anymore, it is almost like it has vanished. The Allies are caving in on Germany, i can smell defeat it is knocking on the door. I am not ready for this.  They captured all of Germany, this is the last you will hear of me, if you find this Journal I am dead.

United States 2 1938
Today is orientation day. Being United States kind of worries me to be honest. I know I’m far enough away from everything but that doesn’t mean people won’t attack me at all. One of my objectives is to stay neutral until I am attacked. Basically I need to just stay out of any conflict until someone brings me into it. I’ve heard from other countries that one of Japan’s objectives is to attack pearl harbor. That is near me so that most likely means they are going to attack me. I’ve talked to Great Britain and they said they would most likely help me if that happened to me. If Japan ends up attacking me, that is when I plan on cutting off all my natural resources to them. Today the only thing I did was transfer 2 credits of oil, iron ore, and coal to China. That will go into place tomorrow. One of China’s objectives is to just gain some natural resources I guess so I at least helped them out a little bit. I have a surplus in those categories. I plan on helping Great Britain economically with my surplus when I’m needed. I guess we will see what happens tomorrow on the first year of the war!

Today I had a change in my original plan. Japan kept attacking countries and they were very victorious. I can assume their rating is pretty high and part of that may be because of how much oil I was supplying them. I decided to cut off all supplies to Japan earlier than I planned. I waited until the axis power’s turn was over to do that so they couldn’t attack me right away. When it got to the allies’ turn, I cut off all supply to them.  This way if they do end up attacking me their rating won’t be so high. That could change though if they get a lot of transfers. I heard them talking about getting a lot of transfers so I guess we will see what happens. I talked with Great Britain and we agreed to become alliances once I am attacked. So far I’m still obtaining my objective by remaining neutral and staying out of conflict. I think about exchanging and transferring some resources with Great Britain tomorrow possibly.

Today was the day I’ve been waiting for. Japan attacked my navy in the US Philippines. I wanted them to attack me so I could join with the allies. I made an alliance with Russia and Great Britain. Now it seems like we’re all there and ready to start working towards destroying the axis power. I talked to Great Britain about transferring natural resources. They had plenty of rubber so they were perfectly fine with giving me what I needed. They gave me 18.4 so I was at a 0. They might still give me more to get a surplus later on.  I told them that if they ever need resources that they could let me know as a way to honor my alliance and obtain my objective of helping them economically. As of now I’m not entirely sure what our plan is next. The bell rang and we didn’t have time to really talk about it. All I know is that we have a bigger group on the allies now so we can work to mess up the axis power. That is one of my objectives to work towards that once I was attacked. I’m excited to see what tomorrow brings.

Today was such a great day. I was worried this whole time about Japan attacking me and just waiting for it to happen. Japan moved their navy near Hawaii with only 170 troops. This was funny because she thought she moved 180. I had 190 navy right there waiting for her. Japan was so confident they would win but that’s not how it happened. The United States were victorious and Japan is nowhere near me once again. I heard Japan say they are going to wait for their war tomorrow. But tomorrow I get a lot more troops so this will be exciting. I don’t think Japan is aware of how many troops I will be getting over the years. I’ll be spending the next two years trying to wreck and destroy Japan. While all this is going on, Japan is supplying the USSR with some natural resources I’m pretty sure. Something is going on and it’s just not right. I was able to mobilize today and over the next few years I will be getting a lot of troops. Great Britain thinks that I’m going to save all their butts during the rest of this war. As far as natural resources goes, its going very well. I gave all the resources I could to set me at 0 to the USSR. I also gave some oil to Great Britain as a way to supply them economically. I can’t wait to see what the year 1942 is going to bring!

I gained more troops today and put them on my navy. I moved closer to Japan each time. Japan ended up moving farther away from me to stall time. I’m most likely going to attack on Japan tomorrow. A bunch of the allies have their navies in some convoy type thing. They are all moving together up to the US to load my troops onto them. Next year I’ll be getting even more troops so I’m gonna help everyone out. Today didn’t have too much going on for me. I believe tomorrow I’m going to try and help block Japan on a move their trying to do.

Once again I gained more troops and navy. We moved some some troops on to our navy convoy. As the allies we are trying to take over the axis power. To work towards this we moved our convoy down to French North Africa and took that over. We’re going to work towards taking over that whole bottom part of the Europe map. We want to take over and close up Egypt and the Suez Canal. I attacked Lybia and got it. After that we’re hopefully going to work to take over the whole area of France, Italy, and Germany. At the same time we’re pushing our USSR area of troops west to take over the Poland and Rumania area as well. The allies had more navy moving toward this area but Japan knocked us out of there a little unexpectedly. Earlier on the axis took over all of China. We have now taken all of China back. I love the color of orange taking over all the yellow on the map. The convoy is moving back up to me so they can get more troops next year. When I get more navy I might go attack the mainland of Japan so there’s nothing left over there.

Today I wasn’t in much of class because I had an orthodontist appointment. I did get back to class right at the end though. Before class Great Britain had me sign some papers to basically make the map orange. Everything worked out very well for the allies today. We ended up taking over all of France, Romania, Yugoslavia, and little countries like Austria and Hungary. USSR got all their land back that they lost. The allies also got Poland back to life. We did end up closing off Egypt and the Suez Canal. Something that surprised me was Italy joining the allies today. One thing we are going to work towards next year is to take over Greece to help out Great Britain. I’m pretty sure we’re going to work for taking over Germany as well. The axis power is not very happy but it’s our turn to dominate. They took control in the beginning but it’s our turn now. They have no choice but to just sit there and take it. Can’t wait to finish this up tomorrow hopefully.

Today is the last day and we plan on doing as much damage as we can. At this point there isn’t really anything the axis powers can do anymore. The axis just wants to keep G1 of Germany but we took over Germany just like that. The map looks BEAUTIFUL. I took over Belgium and the allies took over Greece as well. I’m saving everyone on the allies for the most part but the allies (mostly Great Britain) treat me like a piece of meat. I had people in Belgium so I attacked the Netherlands to get them back on the map. The allies took over Denmark for one of the last reachable pieces of land. The war is over and the allies win.
