1913

Today I just sat back and let everyone do there thing. I am trying to think of ways to get my troops to europe when I get them.  I was thinking that I could use Great Britain’s (Logan) fleet to help get them across the pond, but I talked to Logan and he said he could send what he had that was not engaged already. Now for the next couple days I will just let Europe start tearing themselves apart and I am just going to watch.

1914
Today I watched Europe tear themselves apart. I really didn’t do a whole lot. I stayed neutral and I talked with both sides.  As this goes on it is making me really mad that I can’t do anything!

1915
This year was full of a bunch of shit but I couldn’t join in the fight because that would go against my objectives. I have made deals to get France and Great Britian’s  navy to be in america by the end of 1916. I can not wait until I can join this thing because all of the allies are looking to GB’s leader to come up with a scheme and this certain leader is clueless. Once I join the war it will be “I’m america now do what I say and we will win!” For goodness sake this is war you do not pass on a time to take out another area just because you don’t want to yet!

1916
This year I just made sure my plan would work for getting all of my people over to europe. I plan to send everyone strait for G1 and A1 right away tomorrow. I want to just bull rush them and hopefully win and if not try again.

1917
I finally joined the war and I did the plan and I lost. I can’t believe that I outnumbered them by that much and still lost. I really think I should’ve done the math. I plan to do the exact same thing tomorrow and pray it works. If I decide to change plans i may take over russia because there are like no troops there.

1918
I sent everyone strait for G1 just like I had planned and I lost all of my troops.  I really should’ve done the math to find out I could’ve even one but I didn’t. I really just didn’t care if I lost everyone though because if I cut Germany’s army down like I did then I thought that great Britain would send everyone to to G1 and take out everyone who was left, but they didn’t do that. I held up my side of the plan but Great Britain didn’t hold up there side of it. I really think if they would’ve hit Germany right after me we could’ve beat Germany at least.

Countries: Romania & Japan. Period: 5. Year:1913

Romania: I must stay neutral until 1916, BUT I have currently started to talk to Russia for protection. I have reason to believe that Bulgaria has a made a secret alliance with the Ottoman Empire. The reasoning behind this is as follows. I think the Ottoman empire is going to travel through Bulgaria to capture Romania and possibly Greece and eventually Russia. BUT I have a plan, I did not mobilize today for some reasons. Reason number one is that I want evoke Ottoman empire to come after me and and I want them to THINK that I will not put up much of a fight. Tomorrow I will mobilize and get Russia to take on A3, heck I might do it myself, (That won’t take long) then if the Ottoman empire will do what I think they will do they will have boots on deck in Bulgaria. And while they are moving troops, I will try and get Russian troops moving through A3 into Serbia and eventually invading Bulgaria to where we can take on the Ottoman empire on their own turf.

Japan: There is not much to do, in the next couple days I will take back the German Colonies in Asia. I am hoping I will get Great Britain to help my navy choke out Bulgaria with the help of Serbia. My navy will sit in the Black Sea Zone off the coast of Bulgaria while part of Great Britain’s navy will sit in the Aegean Sea Zone off the coast of Bulgaria to discourage the Germany’s U-boats from moving in and helping the Ottoman empire out. While Romania’s troops take out Bulgaria. I am really counting on Russia to take on the Ottoman Empire out, if they don’t, every plan I have made, will go up in smoke.

Countries: Romania & Japan. Period: 5. Year:1914
Romania: I mobilized today, I went from 290 troops to 590 troops, that shocked me at first. But hey, more the merrier. Alright down to business, Russia was attacked (R3). I could not do anything because I have to stay neutral till 1916. I am terrified that I will be attacked before then. I have one more year to go till I can do anything. In the meantime I plan on making a fake alliance with Austria-Hungary so I won’t be attacked. But when 1916 comes around, I’m gonna lay the hammer down and anyone who messes with me will perish. I am reluctant to take over A3, If I do Germany may move 600 troops into A3 and take out my whole force. I think it is a good idea to just stay put for awhile.

Japan: There is still not much to do here. Russia was attacked by the Central powers and Russia lost R3. Tomorrow I will be taking back German colonies in Asia. I had moved my Navy into Dardanelles Straight in attempt to discourage anyone to help the Ottoman Empire move troops. But in reality I have the worst navy, but I still walk around like I own the place. That could get me into a lot of trouble if I’m not careful. They key to winning a war is; Act like you aint afraid of anyone, have really big countries with really big armies have your back, and walk around like you own the place.

Romania: Russia fell today. The only strong counties left are Ottoman Empire, Germany, and France. I have decided to to ally with The Ottoman empire for one reason, they were closing in and I want my country to stay in this for as long as possible. They have also asked me to take over Serbia. I agreed. But at the last second I am going to attack them as an attempt to defy them, but that will end badly for me. I only hope my counter parts will have the strength to fight them and win this war. So far, nothing has ever gone to plan, but I am determined to get under their skin, and make them mad as humanly possible. On the upside of Russia falling, it will be easier for me to get my land back. Gotta stay optimistic I guess.

Japan: I have not moved from the straight, there is nothing for me to do with my small navy unfortunately. One thing I have done today was get German colonies in Asia taken back. So that’s a plus. Other then that, not much else to talk about.

Serbia, Greece, Montenegro 1913
This year Serbia allied with France and Great Britain, because they are strong Western countries who can really help my country. Eventually I hope to come to a negotiation with Austria-Hungary, and to unite both of the Slavs in each of our country into one. We still have to figure out what we are going to do for sure, but right now there won’t be a war between us. I want a Slavic state, no matter what. Russia announced that if someone wants to attack Serbia, they also are going to being going against Russia. I am glad I allied with the people I did, because they are very trustworthy, and have strong armies, so I think that will help my country be successful. I also mobilized my troops in Serbia for defense, just in case someone goes to war. Greece is going to stay neutral until 1917, and then I hope to eventually convince Germany to become an ally. Greece’s won’t be mobilized, because it is unnecessary. Same with Montenegro, mobilizing troops wouldn’t do anything. France convinced me to become allies with them also, so they will have my countries back, just in case.

This year there wasn’t much action. I just focused on convincing the allies to start moving their troops to Serbia, because eventually Austria-Hungary is going to attack. Great Britain and France started moving their troops, to help defend me. I plan on them defending my country, so I become stronger and eventually I can get back my land from Austria-Hungary. Greece has to stay neutral until 1917, so there wasn’t very much action going on in Greece. I know last year I wanted to ally with Germany, but now I’m reconsidering that because I don’t really know what would be best yet. I may ally Montenegro with Serbia, but then I’m worried that Montenegro will get taken over. I just have to sit back, and wait a little because before I start making more moves. I’m really depending on my allies to help me, because without them I won’t be very successful.

This year was a year of waiting and seeing what was going to happen. Great Britain and France’s troops are now in Serbia, waiting to defend. Austria Hungary’s troops are gradually getting closer to Serbia, so I’m thinking there is a war coming soon. I don’t know what is going to happen. Greece is still neutral, I have 2 years to figure out whether I want to become a central power or an ally. I’m thinking I’m going to want to be an ally because I trust them more. I’m worried because Russia is now out of the war, because of a civil war. Russia is allied with Serbia and Greece. I hope Great Britain and France help me out, because I really am going to need them. Montenegro is still standing strong. They are honoring their alliances, and hoping that their alliances honor Montenegro because it is a very little country.

Serbia got defeated by the central powers this year, but hopefully we will be able to get Serbia back. Great Britain, France, and Montenegro weren’t able to really help me. Great Britain is going to hopefully fight back for Serbia, by taking over A2 and move through there. Eventually I hope to take over A3, too, with the help of my allies because that is my objective. I have to wait and see if Great Britain is successful in taking over A2, and if they are willing to take over A3. Greece is neutral until next year, and then will become part of the allies, and then Greece will help out the allies, and vice versa. I need to get back Macedonia from Bulgaria, so hopefully we will meet the objective of taking it over. The only problem is that Romania, Austria Hungary and Germany all have troops in Serbia, so they have easy access in helping defending Bulgaria.

Serbia is still part of the Central Powers, but we are gradually moving toward taking over A2 from Austria Hungary. We just have to wait and see where the Central Powers put there troops. Germany tried to take over Montenegro, but with the help of the Italian navy, they were defeated. Therefore, I retained Montenegro’s original territory which is one of my objectives, unless they try to take it over again. Greece became part of the Allied Powers this year, and are no longer neutral, so that objective is met. The only problem is that the Central Powers are moving their troops into Serbia, which means they are probably going to attack Greece. If they take over Greece, hopefully we can get it back, because we will have more territories taken over around that area. We attacked A2 from the Central Powers and we WERE successful! This is very good because that was one of my objectives, so hopefully we keep A2. Now that we have A2, we can get Serbia, and then Bulgaria. That’s only if things go as planned. I really need to get Serbia back, and take Bulgaria, so it’s very important for my allies to help. Next year I’m planning on putting 150 of my 230 troops onto the navy with Italy to help them take over the Ottoman Empire. Although this makes it easier for them to take over Greece, hopefully eventually we can fight back for Greece.

This year was the last year of the war, and it didn’t go as well as I planned and wanted it to. Good things did happen though, I just wanted more to happen. If we would have had a little more time, I know that we would have been a lot more successful. We did not end up getting Serbia back from the Central Powers, my allies focused on getting the bigger countries, instead of the smaller countries. I tried to convince them that we should go for the smaller countries first, and then work towards the bigger countries. I wanted to get back Serbia, and then capture Bulgaria and A3. This didn’t happen because we kept getting attacked by the Central Powers, and we kept defending ourselves, and even though we were successful most of the time, we still lost a lot of troops. We needed a lot of troops to get back Serbia, and then Bulgaria and A3. Like I said before, if we would have had just a little more time, there’s no doubt we couldn’t have figured out a way to recapture Serbia. I do admit, the Central Powers were very skillful. I met my objectives with Montenegro. I kept their original territory, even though they tried to take it away, and I honored my alliances by helping them when they needed it. Greece also met it’s objectives. It remained neutral until 1917, and then became apart of the Allied Powers. The Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria tried to take Greece, but with France and Italy’s help, they were defeated.

First, I plan to help Germany and Ottoman Empire attack and take over Russia,
after this Serbia will be cut off from their only ally and will be defenseless.
So, I will work with Bulgaria to take over Serbia, because they attacked
and killed a leader of my country. I have deceived Serbia into thinking
that I would like to negotiate to create peace between our countries, this
is not the case.

Fears:
I am very fearful that France will get involved with the war in Russia;
however, the Central Powers have allied with Italy so HOPEFULLY
Italy will not let the French through their territory. Bulgaria is allied
with Romania, which is allied with Russia. I am very fearful to
discuss any concrete plans with Bulgaria because I fear they may
be double crossing us. I also fear that Germany will get wrapped
up into a navy battle with Great Britain and will be so distracted
that they will be useless to me.

Additional Thoughts:
I have figured that Russia will immediately go for the Ottoman Empire
United States will most likely ally with the Allies
Serbia has left me without an heir, so I will completely destroy them,
and if Russia tries to get in my way I will take them out as well.
As far as I’m concerned, I have no more options but to go out with
a bang. First, Serbia. Next, THE WORLD.

Russia 1913

War is inevitable at this point. I have publicly announced that I am allied with Serbia, and and attack on them is an attack on Russia. Hopefully this does not come back to haunt me. I have made a secret alliance with Italy, a well needed asset. Italy has convinced the Central powers that he is on their side, giving us inside information. My main goal at this point is to take the Dardanelles Strait, I need it for supplies. Great Britain and Japan are going to assist me in capturing the Dardanelles Strait with their navy’s. Romania will allow me to send troops through it as long as I provide protection. The only problem is Bulgaria, Italy has informed me that they are secretly allied with the Central Powers, this could cause problems, threats may have to be made. The Dardanelles Strait will be mine within the year hopefully, with the help of Great Britain, Japan, and Romania. The Ottoman Empire wants me to publicly make an Alliance with him as well. I know only bad things can come from this, I have led them on and made them think I will be allies with them, but the first chance I get I am attacking, I do not trust him. After the Dardanelles Strait is captured my strategy is to protect Romania and keep the alliance alive, then take A2 from Austria to assist Italy and France with Germany. But first things first, the Dardanelles Strait.

Russia 1914

Germany has successfully taken R3 from me, and taking out more troops than I would like to admit. But my soldiers fought well and took out a considerable amount of German soldiers. Luckily they didn’t attack R2, allowing me to build a defense. As soon as I get my next mobilization I am moving half to defend R2 and half to R4. I plan on invading the Ottoman Empire, and taking the Dardenelles Strait. I know they are afraid of me, because they keep trying to spark up peace treaties and alliances. I have told them that I am for it, but am planning I large scale invasion on him. Hopefully this strategy works. Hopefully when by the time I take O2 Britain will have some of it’s navy carrying troops move in to assist me with O1. I am worried about the 1,000 Austrian-Hungary troops in A3 trying to attack Serbia. Sadly, I cannot send any help or worry about helping until I take the Ottoman Empire. Hopefully my troops defending in R2 will be able to hold back the German and Austrian-Hungary armies, or at least give me enough time for my next mobilization. This war can go anyway at this point. By the time the Allies have the Dardanelles Strait, Romania will be allied with us, allowing me and the remaining (if any) Great Britain army he sent to assist me to move through it and attack from 3 different angles. Then Italy will be allied with us, allowing Great Britain and France to move through that as well. Allowing us to bypass the Ardennes Forest. I hope the Central Powers do nothing crazy to throw our strategy off.

Russia 1915

Well…The mighty Russians have fallen into a civil war. I became so focused on the Ottoman Empire and the Dardanelles Strait, that I neglected keeping troops in my capital. It was a foolish mistake. I hoped my troops in R2 would be able to defend that point long enough until my mobilization came the next year and then I could heavily fortify that position. I didn’t need that many troops to go down into the Ottoman Empire…I just want to make sure that I would not lose. Hopefully the Allies will be able to come back and win this war without me. I know that with the help of Italy and Romania the odds will hopefully turn in their favour. I did what I could, but Germany wanted blood and there was nothing I could do to stop it after I moved so many troops down to the Ottoman Empire. It was a foolish mistake that will hopefully not cost us the war. I have faith in the Allies, but right now my main focus is the civil war. I hope that we can at least take the Ottoman Empire, and my destruction was not for nothing. Russia has surrenderred.

Russia 1916

The Russian civil war still rages on as the war outside our borders continues as well. I know that if we lose this war it will be my fault, but sadly the civil war must come first. The US has informed me of the allied strategy, and it just might work. I just wish I could be involved in it. The US is going to move in all of their troops, and fake out the Germans to move out of their capital, then when the time is right, they will move their troops and Great Britain’s and France’s troops and take the capital, removing the Germans from the war. When the time is right, Romania will double cross them, helping attack from the bottom part of Europe. Hopefully destroying Bulgaria, or taking back Serbia. This whole strategy would work much better if I was in the war, because of my mistake we might lose. But the past is the past and I and the rest of the Allies must move forward.

Russia 1917

Russia is still in a civil war, and the war still goes on outside. The U.S. has joined the war with the Allies, a potential tide changer. Moving in large numbers of troops and doing a good job with it. Sadly, I am not in the know as much as I used to be, which frankly I have no reason to be involved as much as I was before. All I can do now is talk about my strategy and how it almost worked. I was hoping my troops in R2 could hold long enough for my mobilization to kick in. Then I would go in defense mode. While my troops and France/GB troops helped me take out the Ottoman Empire. I just didn’t spread my troops out well enough. The strategy was there, just not executed well on my part. All I can do now is regret the mistakes I have made.

Russia 1918

Today marks the end of the bloody cruel war. It did not go without Russia still making it’s way in to assist the fight. Italy’s President went M.I.A. And I was asked to take charge. I did just that. I also was more careful with the troops I was provided, never leaving gaps open. We had a strategy all worked out. The U.S. sent many of it’s troops down to attack Germany’s capital, crippling their armies. France GB and myself were going to send troops from A2, I1 and attack A1, taking out Austrian-Hungary’s capital. While France, GB, and the US sent troops to take out Germany’s capital, it was a plan that I have confidence in that would have worked. Sadly, the clock was not with us, as we ran out of time just as we were about ready to launch our invasion, and turn the tides of this war for once in our favor. This whole war would have been much easier if I, Russia was still in it, but my mistakes haunt me. Maybe this war would have looked much different if I were still in it. But still, we gave it our all in the end, and you could see the tides start to change.

Great Britain 1915 (Tuesday)
Significant events – Great Britain destroys German navy, Great Britain moves troops and navy to North Africa region, Italy joins the allies, France moves troops into Belgium and Italy
Strategies/plans – I need to declare war on the Ottoman Empire so I can secure the Dardanelles Strait for Russia. I also need to help out the smaller allied countries because they are getting taken over fast.
Thoughts – Perhaps I could attack the Ottoman Empire from the back side by getting troops in Egypt.

Great Britain 1916 (Wednesday)
Significant events – Austria-Hungary takes Serbia/Montenegro and Romania, Great Britain and France attack the Ottoman Empire, Ottoman Empire moves troops back from Bulgaria
Strategies/plans – I need to make a final blow to the Ottoman Empire and take them over tomorrow, because Russia needs help badly. I also need to ally myself with the US and Portugal to achieve some of my objectives.
Thoughts – It might be a good idea to move French troops with my navy.

States 3 1913

It
is 1913, and war is about to start. I think if us United States stay
neutral for some time, we should be fine. After we stay neutral for
awhile, I believe we should make an alliance with Great Britain and
France, to make sure we are safe. Declaring war on Germany may be a
smart idea, since we have allies to back us up, we will be
successful. I think we should attack the part of Germany that has the
least amount of troops, because we will have more of a chance to take
over that land. Once we attack Germany, we will then help Great
Britain and France with the wars they end up declaring. As allies,
our duty is to back each other up in time of war.

United
States 3 1914

Here
in the year of 1914, us United States has decided to mobilize. This
helps our number of troops greatly! Although nobody has declared war
on the United States, they have declared war on other countries. The
Ottoman Empire was successful at war with Bulgaria, Austria-Hungary
and Germany are successful in taking over part of Russia (known as
R3). The United States is fortunate right now, because no one is
attacking us. I do not think we are anyones target at this point in
time, but, I am sure once we start making moves, we will be a target.

This
year many countries got Poison Gas. Unfortunately, we were not one of
those countries to receive the luxury of Poison Gas. Not only did
others receive Poison Gas, but, the Lusitania sunk. There were 1,198
deaths, including 128 Americans. This put the United States under the
spotlight, just a little. During this year, a lot has happened; The
German Navy was destroyed by Great Britain, Italy joined the Allies,
France and Great Britain’s navy’s are now surrounding Germany, and,
Austria-Hungary is now giving no representation for the Slavs in
their government. We are still neutral at this time, but, we need to
start talking to Great Britain and France to make sure they are going
to be okay with forming an alliance in two years.

States 3 1916

Things
are getting serious now. So much war is happening, and I am afraid
other countries might start attacking the US. Austria-Hungary
attacked, and took over Montenegro and Serbia. Romania joined the
Allies, but was taken over by the Central Powers not too long after.
Greece was almost taken over by Austria-Hungary, but received some
temporary help! The allies are in desperate need of land. We are
slowly losing land, one piece at a time. This is not good. Next year
we will be making our allies, and the US will be known as part of the
Allies, which may cause some tension to build.

Well,
we joined the allies, and we are declaring war on the Central Powers.
This is crazy! We just mobilized, and now have a total of 1,674
troops. We are going to attack O2, and hopefully succeed. With some
help from France, we were victorious in war with O2. Us allies also
attacked O1, and were victorious, as well. It looks like allies might
be getting a lead! Hopefully this is taking a turn for the worse for
the Central Powers!

States 3 1918

Today
is the last year of war, and things are severely intense. Not only is
there war left and right, but, everybody is moving their troops and
navy everywhere! Us United States attacked G2, and we were
successful. At this point, we have fulfilled our objectives, so we
don’t really need to do much more of anything. But, with war going on
all around us, we need to be able to help back up our allies if
possible. At the end of the year, the allies were victorious over the
Central Powers. There was a little bit of Germany left, but, there
was more allied land, than there was Central Powers land. Our goal
has been reached!

Germany 3 1913

It’s 1913. The year before the World War 1 Start. I’m one of the Central Powers, Germany, and allied with Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire. They are both really strong but I still wanted to make more alliances, since they can never really hurt you, as long as you don’t trust them too much.
Since it was one of my objectives, I made a secret alliance with Bulgaria. It had to be secret, because Bulgaria was worried about the effects of having open alliances.
In addition I tried to make sure I have alliances with countries that surround France, since they are surely going to try to get their land back. Thats why I made a secret alliance with Belgium, so I could convince them to let my troops through their land every time. I also hope that they are going to fight on the side of the central powers- against France.
Last but not least I also tried to make an alliance with Italy, since I wanted them to protect me and Austria Hungary against France. But Italy denied and so I am pretty sure that it already has an alliance with France. I’m aware of that alliance and always keep some of my troops on G1, next to Italy.

Germany 3 1914

The World War started. Many countries mobilized but in the moment I heard Russia is mobilizing I acted and declared war to Russia. Why? I really don’t want to wait till I have France and Russia attacking me from both sides at the same time – the two- front war that eliminated Germany in the first world war. So I decided to kill Russia as quick as possible, so I can concentrate on France. Austria-Hungary is fighting on my side and the Ottoman Empire is trying to attack Russia from the South. We will see how that goes. I’m just scared because the Russian have lots of new soldiers next year and I don’t want them to over roll my exhausted army.
Thats why I’m planning on moving more troops to the East, always in the hope France is going to wait till they attack us.
I’m also concerned about Great Britain, since they have been pretty quiet so far.
The next step I want to make is convincing Austria-Hungary to kill Serbia and Montenegro, because they are little countries, that are going to grow from now on. We should eliminate as many enemies as we can in the next year, so our power is growing and we are ready to fight Russia and France at the same time, and can fully concentrate on them.
A little lost was  the take-over of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire, since I was planning on honoring my alliance with this little country. But I couldn’t do anything- all my groups were in the North.

Germany 3 1915

Russia just got about 3000 new soldiers in their backland. Although I really want to fight them I can’t overtake the next part of their land because they would just fight me back and overwhelm my exhausted army. So I tried to convince the Ottoman Empire to attack Russia from the South, but they were concentrating on Greece and Serbia. Thats why I am going to wait till I try to destroy Russians army again. Why? Because Great Britain just took my navy down and the alliances got pretty strong in the West. 2000 French soldiers are in Belgium and about 4000Soldiers are in Italy, which joined the alliances. That forced me to stay in the West, I can’t effort to put Russia down right now, I need all my troops to save my borders and Austria-Hungary. Otherwise France and Italy are going to attack us.
In addition Egypt and all the other countries on the South joined the alliances against the Central Powers. Now I’m getting kind of nervous because we are surrounded by enemies.
But I couldn’t do anything about all our little enemies in the south, like Serbia or Montenegro because I needed my troops elsewhere. I tried to convince Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire to take them down as quick as possible so they can’t get any stronger but they didn’t want to.

Germany 3 1916

The situation for Germany got better this year. After long calculations and strategies I decided to make the border to Belgium and Italy strong enough to have more Power than the French soldiers in these countries have.
I’m not going to attack them though, because I don’t need to fight them and since I know that they want their land back from Germany I just wait for them to attack me, so that I can get the defense point in the rating. My army is going to be up at a rating of 11 when they declare war against me so it should be possible to defend myself. I’m just waiting for their next step.
Meanwhile I convinced the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary to take down Serbia and Montenegro, since I had the feeling that they are going to become really strong when we don’t take them down immediately. I think we should get rid of as many enemies as we can right now so we can concentrate on our biggest enemies and save the borders.
Romania tried to help Serbia, which really surprised me because it is in the middle of the Central Powers and really easy for us to take down. I even told them my ultimatum: Stay out of it and neutral or we crush you. They didn’t listen and so Austria Hungary took it down. Now that Austria Hungary lost a lot of people I’m going to help them with as many groups as possible.
Russia still didn’t move which surprises me since they could weaken me when they use a lot of their army. Since the Ottoman Empire in the South is really weak now they can’t really threat Russia anymore which should be a chance for Russia to use their complete Army for the West- Germany and Austria-Hungary. But I am not too scared because Russia always had lots of people, but never strong ones.
My main point is defense at the time and at the point where I get the chance- I’ll attack Russia and help the Ottoman Empire to get stronger again.

Germany 3 1917

This year was compared to the last years pretty quite. Italy and Belgium still have the same amount of troops and I still wait for them to attack me to get my defense point on all of my troops. Meanwhile Russia moved their troops to the border- a lot of people stay against me. I just moved all my troops that were close to this border to Russia to get a defense point on all of my troops since they are obviously going to attack me. When they really do then they don’t really have lots of troops left- their army is destroyed.
The Ottoman Empire got pretty much taken down by navies of Great Britain. I tried to eliminate those troops with my navy but I wasn’t strong enough. The Ottoman Empire is lost and now Austria-Hungary and me stand against the rest of Europe. We will move all our troops in our countries since we don’t really need the land in the south, like Bulgaria and Greece.
Otherwise nothing really happened, the US joined the Allied Powers, which didn’t surprise us and now I’m waiting for them to get on the border of Belgium. I just hope I am strong enough to defend myself in the end.
Since tomorrow is the last year everyone is just going to attack us but I still stay with my defense-idea: waiting for them to attack and getting thousands of defense points on my side. Since they really have lots more troops than I do I really need a high rating to be able to get them down.
We will see what happens next. If Russia isn’t going to attack me I may just use my army in the east to destroy as many Russian troops as possible.

Germany 3 1918

The last year of war was nerve wracking. Since I didn’t realize that troops can come through the forrest the U.S and France were able to take my territory over easily.
I wasn’t able to take it back though because as soon as I would have done it, all my other territories would have been weakened and vulnerable. The Russian army got their territory back but they lost lots of army. The Russians were almost wiped out at the end.
Italy didn’t do anything and the troops in Belgium didn’t really do anything either.

My final thought about the position as Germany and my main strategy: My main strategy was the thought that the Allied Powers have a more powerful army over the whole time period. To resist all their troops I wanted to destroy as many capitals of allied countries as quick as possible so they lose some of their troops that I have to fight over time. That didn’t really work though because the Ottoman Empire denied to help me with crushing Russia from the South and Austria-Hungary didn’t want to take over Serbia and Montenegro at first. That’s why the Allied Powers got stronger over time. We didn’t really stopped their troops from growing. That was our main problem. Another problem was the downfall of the Ottoman Empire after attacking Greece, from which I warned it. Austria-Hungary and me stood there by ourselves. These facts added together with the frustrating fact that I got the facts about the Ardennes Forest wrong, made the Allied Powers strong and so at the very end I lost one of my territories to the French.

States 3 1913

It
is 1913, and war is about to start. I think if us United States stay
neutral for some time, we should be fine. After we stay neutral for
awhile, I believe we should make an alliance with Great Britain and
France, to make sure we are safe. Declaring war on Germany may be a
smart idea, since we have allies to back us up, we will be
successful. I think we should attack the part of Germany that has the
least amount of troops, because we will have more of a chance to take
over that land. Once we attack Germany, we will then help Great
Britain and France with the wars they end up declaring. As allies,
our duty is to back each other up in time of war.

States 3 1914

Here
in the year of 1914, us United States has decided to mobilize. This
helps our number of troops greatly! Although nobody has declared war
on the United States, they have declared war on other countries. The
Ottoman Empire was successful at war with Bulgaria, Austria-Hungary
and Germany are successful in taking over part of Russia (known as
R3). The United States is fortunate right now, because no one is
attacking us. I do not think we are anyones target at this point in
time, but, I am sure once we start making moves, we will be a target.

States 3 1915

This
year many countries got Poison Gas. Unfortunately, we were not one of
those countries to receive the luxury of Poison Gas. Not only did
others receive Poison Gas, but, the Lusitania sunk. There were 1,198
deaths, including 128 Americans. This put the United States under the
spotlight, just a little. During this year, a lot has happened; The
German Navy was destroyed by Great Britain, Italy joined the Allies,
France and Great Britain’s navy’s are now surrounding Germany, and,
Austria-Hungary is now giving no representation for the Slavs in
their government. We are still neutral at this time, but, we need to
start talking to Great Britain and France to make sure they are going
to be okay with forming an alliance in two years.

States 3 1916

Things
are getting serious now. So much war is happening, and I am afraid
other countries might start attacking the US. Austria-Hungary
attacked, and took over Montenegro and Serbia. Romania joined the
Allies, but was taken over by the Central Powers not too long after.
Greece was almost taken over by Austria-Hungary, but received some
temporary help! The allies are in desperate need of land. We are
slowly losing land, one piece at a time. This is not good. Next year
we will be making our allies, and the US will be known as part of the
Allies, which may cause some tension to build.

States 3 1917

Well,
we joined the allies, and we are declaring war on the Central Powers.
This is crazy! We just mobilized, and now have a total of 1,674
troops. We are going to attack O2, and hopefully succeed. With some
help from France, we were victorious in war with O2. Us allies also
attacked O1, and were victorious, as well. It looks like allies might
be getting a lead! Hopefully this is taking a turn for the worse for
the Central Powers!

States 3 1918

Today
is the last year of war, and things are severely intense. Not only is
there war left and right, but, everybody is moving their troops and
navy everywhere! Us United States attacked G2, and we were
successful. At this point, we have fulfilled our objectives, so we
don’t really need to do much more of anything. But, with war going on
all around us, we need to be able to help back up our allies if
possible. At the end of the year, the allies were victorious over the
Central Powers. There was a little bit of Germany left, but, there
was more allied land, than there was Central Powers land. Our goal
has been reached!

Period 3

Austria Hungry 1914
Today is the first full day of the Simulation and to be honest, I am VERY confused but my objectives say to honor an alliance with Germany so I plan to do that and Austria-Hungry and Germany also plan to form an alliance with Belgium so Great Britain can’t travel through Belgium to get to Germany.

Period 3

Austria Hungry 1915
Today was a good start to the simulation. Austria-Hungry honored its alliance with Germany by helping them attack Russia (R1).  Austria- Hungry and Germany plan to continue to take over Russia by attacking R2 & R3 while the Ottoman Empire attacks R4. Austria-Hungry hopes to talk with the Ottoman Empire and reassure a true alliance so maybe they could help up take over Serbia since they have Bulgaria too. Germany and Austria-Hungry also hope to have enough troops in  A1, A2 & G2 so when/if Great Britain, France, and Italy attack us, we can defend ourselves to retain our original territory. We also announced that the Slaves have representation in the government.

Period 3

Austria Hungry 1916
Today was very frustrating because Italy allied with allied powers so now, France can attack us through Italy. Austria- Hungry announced that the Slavs now have representation in the government. Austria-Hungry is surrounded because we think the allied powers may try to attack us through Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, Italy, and Russia. The only way to stop this is to take over Montenegro, Romania and Serbia. Attacking Serbia would also help us accomplish one of our objectives.

Austria Hungry 1917
Today we stuck to our plan and took over Montenegro, Romania and Serbia. We hope that this will help us from being attacked so we can retain our original territory. We don’t plan on declaring any more war because we just want to retain our territory and we feel that declaring war on another country may cause us to be attacked.

Period 3

Austria Hungry 1918
Since France and Great Britain took over O1 so it didn’t really effect us because although we do have an alliance with the Ottoman Empire, we are too far away to help them at all and also, the allied countries would have to move through a lot of countries to get to Austria-Hungry so we are planning to just lay low and protect our original territory.

Austria Hungry FINAL DAY.
Today was VERY nerve racking because we were seconds away from being attacked BUT we were saved by the bell! We accomplished our objective! I was SO excited.
